a waitress (I assume?!) LITERALLY STOLE MY NEW FULL DRINK as well as my boyfriends drink while we were waiting for the bathroom… we were there with friends and our table was not empty. in fact there were tons of dirty finished plates sitting on the table but for some reason a waitress decided to come by and take two full cocktails from the table rather than dirty dishes even though our friends actively told her not to take them. she carried them away on a silver platter. I have never seen service so comedically bad. every time we tried to order food or drinks or even just get a glass of water, we tried to flag down a server and they all seemed to avert eye contact and run away from us. our order of fries (which we could have used after all of the drinks that we waited like 45 mins for) magically disappeared. horrible service and the food unfortunately did not make up for it. and the FULL drinks being stolen from us after protests from the other members of our table was absolutely ludicrous and we immediately left and will not be coming back. this place seems cool but it’s all a gimmick. the service is a joke

We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. I believe the type of music the DJ was playing is Electronic Dance Music - EDM. The drink menu is unique which is what I expected at this lounge bar. The waiter was super helpful and offered up suggestions. A relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside but I took a look at the inside and it looked great. Our cocktails were delicious. Also, for those who might not want alcohol, they do mocktails. I will go back ! It is a special spot.

Imagine ordering a $16 cocktail from a craft cocktail bar and it comes in a pint glass loaded with ice. I’ve never been served such poor presentation in a cocktail bar, let alone on the North Fork where detail matters. You can walk 10 feet over and get served a proper drink in a proper glass from Brix and Rye. I don’t know what Black Llama is doing.
