We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. Imagine ordering a $16 cocktail from a craft cocktail bar and it comes in a pint glass loaded with ice. I’ve never been served such poor presentation in a cocktail bar, let alone on the North Fork where detail matters. You can walk 10 feet over and get served a proper drink in a proper glass from Brix and Rye. I don’t know what Black Llama is doing.
Phenomenal experience. I have been coming to Greenport for years and there has never been anything like the Black Llama. Amazing cocktails, hip atmosphere, and just stellar vibes. Can’t wait to go back next year
