The most important takeaway for me was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I arrived on a quiet night not realizing that they were preparing to close. My goto in Greenport for ice cream. 1) Nice staff, 2) Hersheys Ice Cream [mint moose tracks!], 3) 2 flavors in a small, 4) clean bathrooms, 5) decent prices, 6) if you have kids, cute mini carousel, 7) parking out back.
Ice cream was great. Place is LGBTQ+ friendly for anybody who wants to feel safe can come. I got a medium Birthday Cake after a long day of walking. The ice cream tasted fresh and was perfectly cold. Guy was very nice over the counter. He greeted me and took my order. Coming back the next time I make the trip.
