Excellent croquettes & Wiener schnitzel!  Gabriella was the sweetest and best waitress!! Pricey though but worth it!

When I arrived the restaurant was empty since it was 5pm, I asked not to be seated next to the front door because of the outside chill. I was told that was not possible because the manager was not there at the time and all the other tables were spoken for! We were disappointed with the mistake in serving us our appetizer. We were given an incorrect appetizer but accepted it because we were hungry! My raclette plate was not as good as I would have in other Swiss restaurants. CW

The food is delicious. There appeared to be a new server but very nice & helpful. The noise level is way to high. I realize it is a small restaurant but the tables & bar were not even full. Sound proofing desperately needed. Thank you, Leslie

One of my favorite places not just in Greenport but the entire North Fork. Hospitality is always great, food is always on point and their wine/beer/cocktail lists are always incredibly well thought out and top shelf quality with totally reasonable pricing. Will continue to be a regular guest!

We went on a Saturday night and sat at the bar and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and good service from the knowledgeable bartender. The beverage list is impressive, we had a French cider and a Swiss golden ale which we enjoyed. We ordered the veal zurcher geschnetzeltes with spatzli and the house made sausage with rosti which were both good but a bit under-seasoned. The soufflé for dessert was delicious and gluten free.

Extremely loud in a very small space during happy hour. They were understaffed for the labor holiday weekend. That being said, the cocktails and the food or fantastic.

We ate there tonight ! Food so so . Basically airplane food portions . The waitress was nice but to get drinks 20 plus min . Then the bartender was the server and she was slow and lazy and after our entrees came out and there was basically no meat included in the portion I'm talking like 4 tiny cubes for a entire portion at $48 we ordered bread to fix the issue and she said that after 20 min of waiting for bread sorry we are busy and bread will take another 20 min . This place sucks and food isn't Swiss it's basically appetizers that arent good . The table next to us waited over 30 for the bill they had drinks and bread and their food never came . Better restaurant's in area . Dont go

Alpina has excellent food. But the portions are tiny. Why should a 1/4 cup of spaetzle cost $13? I didn't mind the price; I expected a deal portion. The service last night was horrible. The waitress forgot the drink order. It came finally in the middle of dinner. When it came time to pay the check, the waitress was unavailable. No check for 30 minutes. Once I got the check, I had to find her to take my credit card. Getting out took longer than getting fed.

Consistently fantastic. The food (and cocktails!!) is amazing, as is the service. A blend of italian/french/swiss. A must visit, you really wont regret it.

This place is such a Greenport gem. It’s not so common to find authentic Swiss food, especially Swiss-Italian food in the states. Definitely stop here if you’re in town. The cocktails are also great.
