One of My Favorite Spots on the North Fork
I’ve been to Kontokosta Winery a bunch of times now, and it never disappoints. Their wine is always amazing, but lately I’ve been hooked on their Blood Orange Spritz—it’s so refreshing and honestly one of the best cocktails around.
The staff is super friendly and really knows their stuff. It’s one of those rare places that feels both welcoming and a little elevated at the same time. You can totally relax and feel at home, but still enjoy a really special experience.
Between the wine, the cocktails, the view (gorgeous), the music, and the great bar staff, it’s just a perfect spot. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

“Money-hungry” owners is a direct quote from staff themselves. Manager is incredibly cold. Eyes are lifeless. Speaking from a script. It was empty on a Sunday (in July) at 1:30pm. Cameras prohibited (yes, even if you are a dad on his day off with one around your neck like you always do). They say they charge a $500 fee to allow photography. How is taking photos with your iPhone any different? Property is a huge outdoor area and indoor area, completely empty except for one other family. We asked for a refund and left. Very unsettling vibe.

Fantastic facility. Delightful wines. Good staff. Great grounds. I am a wine aficionado and these wines give me something to savor and seek out the sensations. The Anonometer blends are worthy of deep consideration. So too the white Cabernet Franc - sublime.

This vineyard is amazing!!! They were so accommodating to my group and the wine was amazing. And the space (indoor and outdoor) is absolutely stunning. I will definitely be going back!

Avoid this place like the plague..tried to come here with a small group 6 people. I understand their nonsense limo policy they wouldn’t even let us walk up to the vineyard from the street.. nasty pretentious people with bad wine and customer service…. Disgusting
We had a chance to visit in 2023 and could not wait to come back the next fall season. Their wine selection is broad the taste simply amazing. You’ll enjoy the property that has comfortable seating all around and over a dozen picnic tables set by the shoreline overlooking the bay. #checkoutthecandles

The staff was not friendly and the wine was eh. The only thing we liked was the gorgeous views!
We had children with us and it was almost as if they were annoyed (I did call ahead and ask first). We brought activities to keep them busy, they were never a bother to anyone else. They said they cannot move tables to accommodate our party of 10, okay. As we were trying to figure out where to sit (it was raining outside) they were literally moving tables for live music. They could have easily moved a table over a few more inches so we could all sit together.
Same when ordering, I felt like I was bothering them, I was trying to ask questions but could read the vibe and just picked something I thought I would like.

Wow beautiful! As you drive up to the vineyard you are greeted with rows and rows of vines. The large open space of the winery was nice and had two floors as well. There were some tables with benches and others were standing room only. They have a good wine selection as well as Greenport beers for people with different tastes. They have a huge outdoor lawn space to walk or sit and they have a nice view of the sound.

Stopped in on a Wednesday and had a few tastings and cheese and crackers- I really enjoyed the wine (cab sav was my favorite !!) Judy helped us and was wonderful, she was so informative, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon !!!
