SOOOO GOOOOD!! ~ such a FUN EXPERIENCE ??? trying the most AMAZZZZING FOODS~ you won’t find your typical run of the mill items on this tasting menu! Each dish is curated with the most unique ingredient pairings~ things you would never think to put together but are SOOOO GOOD!! Plus top it off with some wine OR you can bring your own for a corkage fee! DEF RECOMMEND!! PS~ our menu started out with baked sourdough bread~ of course even though I prefer an Atkins lifestyle ?, it looked soooo good I had to eat it~ but don’t get toooo full to fast! Meaning don’t get full on the bread because the next dishes to come are more than enough to get full so pace yourself~ ????~ XO!! ???

We were a party of 4 that dined last night at Paw Paw pop up. Unfortunately, the culinary experience was to say the very least underwhelming. The food was lukewarm, dishes that just didn't taste good or blend, we left most of our courses uneaten. The hotel and service were lovely but the food was disappointing. I strongly don't recommend. Not worth it we have had plenty of delicious food experiences on north fork and this was not one.

Restaurant was very helpful and accommodated our party of 12. Menu is terrific, service was prompt and friendly, everyone loved their choices. Can't wait to go back!

I am a local and I had not been to Bruce's since before the pandemic. I had a gift card, otherwise I would not have stayed after viewing the new menu, which does not even offer a single, simple "sandwich" other than the burger I ordered. They've renovated the place (it's now very spare in decor and "Hamptons" beautiful), but along with that they cut the menu down to bare bones. And the prices are "Hamptons High." The burger was suffocated in cucumber/mayo dressing which I laboriously scraped away from the burger beneath. And the $7/8 beer everywhere else in Greenport is $10 here. If you want a $17 "Hamptons" egg sandwich, give it a try. Otherwise, spend your money somewhere else for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Greenport. I won't be back after I use up the remaining $$ on my gift card.

Glad I didnt see some of the earlier reviews. We were a party of 6- 4 adults and 2 twin 3-year olds. I had made a reservation so no issue getting a table even over Memorial weekend. Just a great dining experience from the get go. Good service and delicious food. What someone might call pretentious we thought were cool takes on some dishes. Fantastic BLT and egg sandwich. Excellent oatmeal. A MUSHROOM latte that was yummy. Same with the mushroom tartine. There was stuff for the kids to eat and the wait for the food which can be big deal with little kids, was fine

A special evening awaits you. Delicious, locally-sourced dishes, inventively-conceived and delightfully presented. The staff is lovely, as is the space. Relax and enjoy.

We had been to nearly 10 sit down meals and have had quite a few for take away. Every single time it's better than the last. I really can't do the flavors and imaginative meals justice by just writing about them. You have to just try it. And, it's a steal of a deal. Five courses, each more delicious and create than the last for just $85. Everything is locally sourced and produced which is an added bonus. We will keep coming back. Thank you.

Have been here several times. The bread and butter course is out of this world.

I would give less atars if I could. I went to this 4 years ago and than agreed with the 5 star but not now.I decided to suprise my BF with what I recalled was a great guided culinary experience with local ingrients prepared in unique ways. What we got was the complete opposite.First the location is a rundown B&B that I do nto knowif its even open or under reno. Walked in to a dark dank building, no one greeted us. As we stood around a waiter finally asked our name adn told us to sit at any 2 seat table we wanted. From there is was down hill in a race car.The chef never introduced himself or talked about any dish.We got vague explaination from the server.First course was a luke warm tea over flowersthe nextr course which was the only one edible wasn't even cooked by him but a local bakery bread and butter.3rd was overcooked almost burnt sunchocks with a tasteless cream sauce and a pay on ketchup made out of carrots - cute but the burnt taste overwhlemed everythingThe next was a bowl of mushy grey and I mean grey starchy undercooked dumplings. The fish was so overcooked and covered in an oily sauce side dish in a soy carmel that tasted like bad fish -Duck was tough and the side was an overcooked sweet potato topped very tart dried cherries that blew your palateLast I do not even recall what is what suppose to be but it was a cake that was so raw that I actually has to spit it out in my napkin. To top it all - I went to use the bathroom - wondering around a very dark abandoned building but the few dinner guest. No signage for restroom and no one to help - Finally located it. As I shut the door the handle fell off....I spent 10min trying to fix so I could get out. We left immediately***both of us were sick all nightThis is no culinary experience - It is an overpriced rip offIf you want to service unique dishes showcasing local ingredients at the very least come out to explain each dish and for the love of good food - cook it properly so others don't get sick

The food is great, but overpriced. Breakfast food served all day. Service was very poor. Only checked on us one time after we received our meals.

Food is good but overpriced and replete with restrictions. Eggs and toast $18…wouldn’t seat us except at the bar where there were only 2 seats. When the place cleared out, we asked to move to a table and they said no. The menu says no poached or boiled eggs - (but you can order a salad that comes with a soft-boiled egg. So they DO boil eggs…) No egg whites No decaf Every step of the experience was unpleasant except the scrambled eggs were tasty.

Restaurants with mixed reviews sometimes make me wonder. We had a very fine brunch. We could not get seated on the first day so we reserved on line and got seared comfortably on the next day. The venue is well designed and gives a good feeling. The menu has several unusual selections. We were happy with our breakfast beverages and we moved on to our food. Each choice reflected the varied menu and each of us enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive and competent. We will return.

Dined at the Pawpaw pop up at the Lin beach house. The atmosphere and service was excellent! The meal was creative and lasted about ~3 hours, most of the dishes were spot on and super enjoyable

What a spectacular meal! I loved the corn polenta and duck egg custard, smoked bluefish, and duck breast in cherry sauce. Layer upon layer of flavor. The end-of-meal Bon Bon was to die for as well. Best meal I've had since Eleven Madison! Thank you!!
