The food was amazing and was quick to come out, it’s a nice twist of Japanese traditional with North Fork flair. I've yet to ever have a bad meal here. The sushi and sashimi is brilliant but where I think they really shine are the noodle dishes. The beef udon is incredibly unctuous, beefy, and full of complex flavor and you get a lot for your dollar. Get the Japanese pickles, the wasabi octopus, or a seaweed salad for your appetizer and you won't be disappointed.
We stay in Greenport every August, love the village and it's funky, boho and vintage charm. Stirling Sake a long established sushi and sake restaurant represents the village vibe to a tee. Eclectic decor and bebop jazz playlist are part of the charm.
