I had a fabulous dinner at the Hamden Inn on Friday evening. I got there early and sat at the bar and Lisa was my waiter and bartender. She suggested a gin based cocktail and it was to die for. She was AWESOME! I ordered The Hamden Burger cooked rare…and it was PERFECT! I also ordered the wings based on a friend suggestion and the house-made Buffalo sauce was exceptional! The menu had an excellent variety of culinary choices, however, I chose the burger on a friend suggestion. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. The restaurant had a quaint & cozy upscale atmosphere! I’ll definitely return! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great spot with wonderful menu, great service and comfy atmosphere. Bulgogi pork lettuce wraps were yummy, broccolini fresh and delicious. And Brussels appetizer started thing off with a bang.

Hamden Inn is always exceptional. Their food is amazing and their menu has something for everyone - vegetarian, pescatarian, kids menu, etc. My father-in-law said it was one of the best steaks of his life, and he lives in NYC (and believe you me he loves his steak), so that’s really saying something. The cocktail menu is top notch too. True DelCo gem!

Avoid going when the locals go on Mondays & Thursdays around 4:30pm if you want a quiet and boring evening. This is the place you go to when you want to meet someone new. Greatest bar in the universe. And the food? If only Bourdain was alive to see it. Cozy, comfortable, and a little chaotic, and you’d expect nothing less in this handsome hamlet hidden in the hills. Highly recommend.

Really delicious food at moderate prices. Friendly staff. I dined at the bar. The conversation and banter at the bar was fun. I had a very nicely prepared salmon on the bed of very good tasting eggplant and tomato.
I soon got a text that some friends were joining for dinner. While I had already had dinner, I sat with them and had a drink and a bowl of delicious chowder.
This is the second time I have been there and will happily return
