“I had a fabulous dinner at the Hamden Inn on Friday evening. I got there early and sat at the bar and Lisa was my waiter and bartender. She suggested a gin based cocktail and it was to die for. She was AWESOME! I ordered The Hamden Burger cooked rare…and it was PERFECT! I also ordered the wings based on a friend suggestion and the house-made Buffalo sauce was exceptional! The menu had an excellent variety of culinary choices, however, I chose the burger on a friend suggestion. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. The restaurant had a quaint & cozy upscale atmosphere! I’ll definitely return! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“We pass Tiny's only twice a year. Always on the way to Thanksgiving dinner (when they aren't open) and once on the way back when they are, YAY! Love the simply delicious food and the super nice folks. Fast service too!”

“Just as the name states this authentic Italian gem is located right on Main Street in Delhi. We were so impressed that we almost want to keep it a secret —but it’s too good not to share.

The food is nothing short of exceptional. There were 3 of us and each dish tasted thoughtfully prepared, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and recipes that clearly honor tradition. The pasta is cooked perfectly al dente! The sauces were rich, layered, and deeply flavorful without being heavy. We had the gnochetti (white sauce with peas) and the bolognese. We also enjoyed the pork, served with a sweet yet spicy glaze and escarole.

The service elevates the entire experience. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about the food they’re serving. Their recommendations are spot-on, and they make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table.

To top it all off, the dessert menu is irresistible. The we tried the affogato with homemade gelato!

“We took a motorcycle ride up for the day to get our American Legion stamp book stamped. We had no idea about the restaurant or what to expect. We were immediately welcomed, spoke with the owner Wilma and bartender Jessica (I think that was her name but I'm terrible with names), asked what they suggested for lunch and a waitress chimed in and suggested anything Jack Daniel's. With that we ordered the JD burger and the San Fran burger (not JD) and the flavor was amazing and the burgers cooked to perfection! Turns out the owner once lived in New Jersey and we spoke of familiar places. We will definitely be back to also explore this cute, quaint town. They also hold bike on Thursday.”

Their ciders are delicious and it is nice because they have a rotation of new ciders each week along with their regulars. Definitely worth stopping by for a quick drink or a meal.”

I started going to Townsend Street Market for my daily morning eg sandwich and found Angie and her family warm, friendly, and attentive. So, as I say, it was usually just breakfast, I didn't spend a fortune there. I couldn't possibly be one of ger most valued customers. Recently I'd stopped going there (cancer).After about a month of my absence, a neighbor knocked on my door to check on me, and I told him my story. “Have had pizza here many times and was always more than happy. While there recently I saw a young lady who had ordered one of their subs and thought that I would try one. Ordered their Italian sub and told them to just make their standard sub thinking I would try it their way and maybe I would adjust the ingredients in future orders. The sub was one of the best ever. “Food was prepared OK, it's a subway not a lot can go wrong. But service was REALLY slow. A manager should manage, not sweep floors while food is being prepared (slowly). It took 25 minutes to get a single sandwich made from the time we stood in line till I paid. There were 2 people in front of us. As a former Subway "Sandwich Artist" I know that if it takes longer than 5 minutes to make a sub... You are doing it wrong. And that was by myself in a shop, not with two in the assembly line.
Maybe it was a bad day, but it is what it is and that's what I can say.”

“Like other restaurants on the area, they are cash only. The general tsao and rice is delicious. We even order a side of the sauce so I can pour it on the rice. The woman is amazing and very kind. Never had any issues here and the price is what you would expect for any Chinese takeout. Order here a lot and will continue to as long as we live in walton.”
