Jumbo Jumbo Asian Cafe replaced the longtime Ming Moon Chinese Restaurant in the Price Chopper Plaza. The waiting/self seating area in front of the counter was redone and updated, plus a new lighted menu board. The menu offerings here are mainly the typical Chinese cuisine, plus a few Thai noodle and curry dishes. The prices here have went up significantly since the last incarnation from Ming Moon. I've usually gotten the same thing everytime I've gone, with minor fluctuations, but it's been the same good quality everytime. Compared to the local competition, which I'll never get again, I'd recommend it for that craving of relatively inexpensive American Asian food.

I have no idea what everyone's complaining about. Although it's not a fancy restaurant the food I ingested was very hot, a very generous amount for only $11 for a box with rice and a main course and one egg roll. I was able to see them make my meal fresh in the back. If you are reading comments, I'd say give it a try. I'm very full and happy. Better than McDonald's and the Hunnun Gourmet across from the Y in Oneonta.
