The fries are very good here. Steak is alright at best, but what do you expect? Everything else side-wise was very meh. Service was friendly and fast. However the place is very loud, both in terms of people and some sort of machine going the whole time.
Ate there for the first time. Food was excellent besides the corn which was old and stale, likely from sitting in water all day which isn't cool when you're spending over $100 for dinner. But besides that, everything was terrific. My steak was excellent, the wings were great, cheese fries were great and my (new favorite) wine was fabulous. A coworker and I stopped in to get food to go and we’re both pleasantly surprised. I’ve been coming up to Hamilton for a couple years for work and have avoided this place despite its proximity to my job due it the “bar food stigma”. And it’s been MY loss.
