Vern’s is a favorite of mine and a must have treat on the weekends whenever we’re able to. I love the options, he has delicious treats and they are more than worth it! Love coming here!

Vern’s scones are amazing. The best I have ever had! I have had the blueberry lemon, and the cranberry orange. Each equally delicious and huge. I had to take home the chocolate and almond croissants as they were too beautiful to leave behind. The almond did not disappoint as it was full of delicious homemade almond paste!! Can’t wait to dive into the chocolate one. Thank You Vern, you have quite the talent!

My husband had the breakfast croissant and I had the brie and ham croissant. There was a generous amount of filling in each croissant and they were both spectacular. I'm sad I don't live close to this bakery (I'm from Ohio) otherwise this would be our morning stop. The owner (Vern?) was friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in Hammondsport for several days and enjoyed Vern's for breakfast. The baked goods were amazing and coffee was made fresh. He is a a really kind and funny host we enjoyed talking with. I recommend stoping if you are in the area.
Vern makes the best scones around as well as other pastries. Almond Raspberry, ham Brie breakfast sandwich and many other mouth watering breakfast sandwiches and treats!

Man, oh man! The first time I walked into Vern’s, I took a look around, and I was like wow I’m home. It reminds me so much of some of the amazing small scale bakeries in the city of Rochester. Little hole in the wall places that you might never ever think about walking into. However, Vern’s has the added bonus of being in a wonderful location and having a fantastic looking space! Instead of walking right by the store, almost pulls you into it. Especially if you have a decent nose: the smells from there are an olfactory delight! Whether looking for, a quick snack, a nice breakfast for you and the partner, maybe,, or if it’s your turn to bring in the Office morning treat (you will 100% be the hero if you choose Vern’s for that) you simply cannot go wrong by making Vern’s your choice
