thanks for the food poisoning
The crab soup is better than anything I've had in Maryland. The shrimp and grits competes well with anything you'll find in Charleston.
I’m in the food business owner operator and I can say I was not impressed with the food and the service the food was mediocre for the price. For the first time would probably be the last. Sorry. But very disappointing I won’t rate this now. But this is my own opinion

The Salmon with a sweet praline glaze is spectacular, paired with sweet potatoes and salty collard greens. The Cuban sandwich has some of the most flavorful and tender pulled pork. For those visiting Hammondsport, especially after a day checking out some wineries, Village Tavern is highly recommended for a memorable meal.
