Edgewater Restaurant

I wish this place was open right now- I'm going thru Lobster Pasta withdrawals already....(They close for the month of Feb each year to take a well earned break....) My family and I have been coming to Edgewater for years now and have always had a great time. The food and service are always on point and you can't beat the view....! If you are ever in Hampton Bays, they are worth the trip over....(I would say to try and make a reservation before going, the place gets packed on busy days ights and there is always a wait...But that's what the bar is for I guess!!)

Perfect place for different tastes. Osso buco, Pasta with Lobster and Rib Eye were all delicious. Left very satisfied. Thank you ! See you in the Spring

We had a fabulous night celebrating the New Year; the food and service as always were excellent. The people who work there are very attentive and very friendly. Thanks Edgewater for a fabulous night!!!

We were a group of 6. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails & dinner very much. The only issue we found was the noise. It gets very loud and could not hear everyone at our table. We will return.

We had our family holiday party. There were 11 of us and everyone enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. I have never been disappointed at this restaurant. It is always awesome.

Service was perfect. Waitress and waiter were friendly and courteous. Appetizer s were fresh and delicious crab salad, crab cakes, pear salad and beet salad. Entrees salmon with brussell sprouts, pasta bolonese and shirt ribs were s big hit! Thank you for a very enjoyable dinner.

Had a great dinner with family last night. Food was awesome and service was outstanding, Tina was professional and she was awesome!

I met two colleagues at Edgewaters to discuss a business related matter over dinner. We had arrived too early for seating so we had drinks at the bar. We were then seated and menus and cold water was provided for the table. We spent some time looking over the menu. Our drink orders were taken [beers] and we then gave the waitress our dinner order. The menu is very appetizing and there are a great deal to select from-all of the choices were appealing. Two of us ordered salads [garden and the pear gorgonzola] and the third ordered the calamari. They were all delicious and very tasty. For our entrees, one of us ordered the salmon, the other the steak and the third ordered the chicken. The salmon was especially good with brussels sprouts and a tasty sauce. The food was really good, the service accommodating and the prices were reasonable for the Hamptons. I would like to return to explore their menu further and encourage others to do so as well.

Edgewater is our favorite restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. I ordered the grilled lamb chops appetizer and lobster pasta, both were outstanding. My husband had Caesar salad and eggplant rollatini. Hugh portions for dinner the next day. Wait staff was cordial and accommodating. Always a great experience.

Very noisy restaurant. But that's not my biggest complaint! None of the food was hot at all! Between the mussels, the sausage pinwheel, the pizza, the herb chicken & the veal milenese. Nothing was hot! Room temperature at best. My husband's veal was hard like a rock. So hard to cut. Also, they made a mistake on both of our kids' pasta. They gave rigatoni instead of linguini. The service was ok. Definitely don't mind spending almost $300 (incl tip) if the food was good, but we were extremely disappointed.

Not like it used to be to be more like a fancy diner My risotto was under cooked and the shrimp was pre made and warmed up Food comes out to fast to be made fresh Sorry but was better years ago

Wonderful food and service! Will continue to dine at this restaurant during the off season.

Possibly our favorite restaurant, and we have been to MANY!. The menu has so many tempting choices that it is always a dilemna what to choose. We have not had a bad meal here, but our favorites are the crab and avocado salad and chicken stracciatella. Service is first rate and welcoming, the ambiance casual and active and there is not a bad seat in the house. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

My family and I always enjoy from start to finish. We start sitting at the bar with Joe the bartender who's drinks are always on point and then when we sit down for our meals the appetizers and our main dishes are perfect every time.
