Edgewater Restaurant

Edgewater is our favorite restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. I ordered the grilled lamb chops appetizer and lobster pasta, both were outstanding. My husband had Caesar salad and eggplant rollatini. Hugh portions for dinner the next day. Wait staff was cordial and accommodating. Always a great experience.

Very noisy restaurant. But that's not my biggest complaint! None of the food was hot at all! Between the mussels, the sausage pinwheel, the pizza, the herb chicken & the veal milenese. Nothing was hot! Room temperature at best. My husband's veal was hard like a rock. So hard to cut. Also, they made a mistake on both of our kids' pasta. They gave rigatoni instead of linguini. The service was ok. Definitely don't mind spending almost $300 (incl tip) if the food was good, but we were extremely disappointed.

Not like it used to be to be more like a fancy diner My risotto was under cooked and the shrimp was pre made and warmed up Food comes out to fast to be made fresh Sorry but was better years ago

Wonderful food and service! Will continue to dine at this restaurant during the off season.

Possibly our favorite restaurant, and we have been to MANY!. The menu has so many tempting choices that it is always a dilemna what to choose. We have not had a bad meal here, but our favorites are the crab and avocado salad and chicken stracciatella. Service is first rate and welcoming, the ambiance casual and active and there is not a bad seat in the house. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

My family and I always enjoy from start to finish. We start sitting at the bar with Joe the bartender who's drinks are always on point and then when we sit down for our meals the appetizers and our main dishes are perfect every time.

I just had the BEST chicken Marsala I have ever had!! It was amazing. I gave the service 4 stars because our waiter that night wasn’t very attentive. Usually the service is 5 stars!!
And the food is always 5 stars!

This is our favorite restaurant! The food is so delicious and they give you so much -- food, good and cheerful service, lovely seating -- the whole package. I particularly love the pasta primerva and my husband the rigatoni bolognese. And it's worth paying extra for the foccaccia. We didn't expect the restaurant to be so crowded on this past Saturday night at 7:00 but our reservation was promptly honored and we were served in a very timely manner. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and that is the vibe that Edgewater has -- just a fun place for serious eaters.

Fantastic experience at Edgewater. Nice ambiance and the food was amazing. Beet and kale salad was delicious and the probably the best osso bucco I've had!

Haven't been in a while and people rave about it, but I found the food fair at best... chicken cutlet parm with vodka sauce was not tasty and the cutlet was dry on the inside....the garlic focaccia was the hit !!

Great local hangout. Good Italian fare and with enough for leftovers. Good wine selection.
