Arriving first, we had a very good dinner. We shared an octopus, and each had a soup. The lobster bisque is excellent and very well stocked with pieces. And the price is very reasonable. We will definitely come back.

Not a good experience. Service was terrible. We were sat right away at a table we chose outside. About ten min later, a waiter comes out saying “ok, who was here first? (there were three separate tables waiting) he doesn’t even wait for an answer, as we were there first, and just picks a table, takes their drink order and walks inside. 2 min later he comes out with their drinks and goes to the other table for their order. Then a young man brings us water, fork and knife. Next, the chef comes out and takes our order to only tell us there’s no mahi mahi tacos that we wanted. Ok we get the white fish tacos. Young man who sat us now comes out and asks if we need anything. They seemed very disorganized. It was not crowded and nobody seemed to know who they were helping or what they were doing.
Calamari came out terrible. The rings were chewy and so many tentacles over a huge bed of lettuce. Lobster rolls come out on hot dog buns and the absence of lobster on the bun was a disgrace to call even call it a lobster roll. No chunks of meat at all. Not even one! It was like shredded lobster and barely any on it. Maybe a teaspoon amount. Fish tacos were flavorless as well and wet. $100 later we left hungry and highly disappointed. Will never go back. Save your money and time and find somewhere else.

Love the food and the staff at Fins and Forks, I bring all my friends and we have a great time! Someone is always ready to help me whether it be the bus boy, hostess, bar tender or wait staff! Im always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival, the atmosphere is warm and friendly with beautiful sunsets on the water on the out door patio which also happens to be Dog Friendly so you can bring your pet to lunch too! The drinks Shaunie and Reba make are absolutely amazing!! The Chef always has 3-4 different specials a night there is also live music and bands that usually play on the weekends!! love coming here to have a great night with family and friends!!

My experience this evening was very disappointing. I went into fins and forks with high expectations for a new local restaurant. However, I was extremely disappointed. My food was horrendous and staff was very odd. The Mahi Mahi tacos were dry as can I had to stop and think if it was cardboard. Pasta Primavera had absolutely no flavor. My Mexican street corn tasted like corn bread. Lobster bisque tasted like soap. I would not come here if you are looking for a nice restaurant in the hamptons bays, plenty of other options in the area.
Great place for a quick lunch. Near the water.

Use to come here a lot last year, won’t be coming as much this year. First and most important what happened to chef Tom and his wife chef Rosa! What a talented duo! Sad that they are gone! Food was lovely and amazing full of flavor! Ok now Fins!? What happened? It like a generic want to be Italian, but is trying to sell seafood, but not?! Idk definitely not gonna be coming there much. Idk I say “let’s petition for chef Tom and Rosa to return. No I don’t know them personally outside of the restaurant, but they were well known in the dining room as well. Even when busy chef Tom made it a point to visit everyone that was dining! Sad, miss you guys! Put out an amber alert for these two, where are they?!!!!!

If Chef Tommy is there, the food rocks. Margaret, the host, is lovely and caring. Always a treat to go there.

Stumbled on this hidden gem when a few of the neighboring restaurants were closed. Delicious food, friendly staff, & even personal service from the chef himself!

What an adorable spot! The servers were very kind to allow us outside seating and turned the lights on for us. Our server was super helpful and cheery and enjoyed the night with us. The seafood penne a la vodka had plenty of lobster in it and they were kind enough to oblige our request for a different sauce for the steak. The merengue key lime was also delish! I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews, such a nice gem in Hampton Bays!

My husband & I went to FINS & FORKS on a Monday evening (9/11) without a reservation. It was early 6:30-ish we were pleasantly greeted at the door and seated right away. They have made subtle changes to the décor which has a huge impact, it is a lovely warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious, fresh local ingredients and the presentation beautiful! We shared the calamari appetizer. WOW, it was superb! Best, freshest calamari ever! For my entrée I ordered the tune poke, crisp fresh vegetables and the tune was very tasty, I recommend this dish. My sweetheart had their special, lamb chops with mashed potatoes and asparagus. He said it was cooked just right! Dessert was also yummy; we shared the banana bread sundae. So good!Okay, so I covered the atmosphere & the food now my review on their service. OVER THE TOP attentive. I mean to the point that is was DISRUPTIVE. Tommy the chef, who was really acting as a server, sat us and made pleasant small talk. Then the general manager came by our table to introduce herself, I do not know why, lovely lady and all but she really did not have to hang out and chat with us…Then the waitress who was a sweet lady, but she kept interrupting us! I mean, we were having a conversation, it was obvious we did not need anything and yet she interrupted us; to ask if everything came out okay. Crazy! They really need to learn how to read the table before approaching their guest. We may go back, & I stress “MAY” because although the food was excellent, we really do enjoy our own company. Can we take it to go??!!
