We couldn’t find it. I think already shutdown
I chose Oaklands to host my sister's memorial. Everything was perfect, food, staff, and ambience. Thanks again Christine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great place! Great food, staff and views.
My wife and i had our first date here 21 years ago and comeback regularly to celebrate that night. But this time was not good. When we arrived we were told 30 minutes wait. When i asked why if there are many empty tables in the dining room, I was told it was break time. And they were rather indignant that i asked. I never heard of a restaurant doing that. Finally we were seated. Ordered the bread which was good. my wife ordered caesar salad and salmon ( requested well done). I ordered the seafood pasta dish. Salad and entree came out together. Salad had little to no salad dressing so she requested more, but she didnt eat the salad because lettuce was rather brown. The salmon was not cooked, more like salmon sushi. She couldnt eat it. They did take it back and she ordered roasted chicken which was fine. My seafood pasta was bland. Overall experience this time was disappointing. I suspect we will have to find another place to celebrate our first date.
We have been to Oaklands many times over many years, not because it's outstanding in any way, but because the location makes up for mediocre food and service. On our most recent visit we waited over an hour to be served. Our server did her best, she was not supported by management or kitchen staff. Always hopeful that things will improve, we'll probably go back next year, ever the optimists.
Numerous items on the menu are tagged as gluten free but everything is cross contaminated or has gluten. I ended up getting a plain piece of salmon and asparagus. I was not impressed- not for people with celiac.
Don't let the decor scare you. This place has awesome food. Sit down or take out. We have been to all the local restaurants, this is a winner
An awesome location for Brunch and to take a walk and admire the scenic views near the Shinnecock Canal and Inlet.
Fantastic food and extremely helpful staff always eager to help, we came here for my birthday and I cannot say there were any problems at all.
6 of us went on a weekend. My sister got a 2 lb. lobster. ($75) My brother got a 2 lb. lobster stuffed for an $8 upcharge. They loved the lobster. I got the filet mignon. Yum. We noticed on the table the lobster specials on Mondays and Tuesdays. $38 for pound and quarter, with mussels, shrimp and corn on the cob. Another 6 of us went back a few weeks later for the Lobster Bash and it was really good. Also my nephew got swordfish which he loved. The service was excellent and the views of the bay and canal are very nice.

A lovely beach day was capped off with a nice meal at Oakland's at the north end of Dune Road overlooking the Marina. Delightful setting, with nice live music made this a great choice to end the day. On the other hand, the food (I had the lobster bash and my partner had scallops with "salty" risotto) was only average..... and while very pleasant, the young staff made errors with the order and were at times "MIA". So 5 stars for the ambiance and 3 stars for the food/service give it an overall 4-star "good" recommendation.
Docked just behind this restaurant we decided to try dinner here. We ordered light meals, burgers and chowder. Both selections were very good for starving boaters. The bar scene was very active on the rear deck. Service was friendly and pleasant. All in all, a nice place to eat.
Great dinner outside near the marina. Beautiful view and good choices for dinner. Always have very fresh fish here or lobsters. We enjoyed fluke, tuna and swordfish. Loved the preparations of fish here. Salads are large and really good. Drinks were a good pour
Super fast gas dock and great service everytime
We went on a Monday night and we both had the Lobster special (for $30) you get a nice size lobster, shrimp, mussels and corn. The food was excellent, great view and service. We ended it with the chcocloate chip lava cake, which was delicious!
