This is one of our go to places in Hampton Bays. Went for lunch and dinner quite a few times this summer and had excellent service, food, and a fantastic atmosphere. Enjoy a walk on the docks before dinner to see the daily catch. The clam chowder and flounder sandwich were huge hits!

We were going to the adjacent restaurant Oaklands but there was a 90 minute wait on Monday evening before 6:00. So we headed next door. Our party of four were seated inside immediately. It wasn’t long after I noticed they too had a long waiting line. The atmosphere was pleasant and decor was Beach influenced since its opposite the ocean.
The food was predominantly from the sea. Two had linguine with New Zealand cockles and Manila clams. I had the seared scallops and the other person had the stuffed lobster. For the appetizer course we had mussels and stuffed clams. The clams were too much bread and no clam chunks and we had to pay extra for the bread to soak up the mussels in wine sauce.
One person said the clams in his linguine was overcooked.
The room can get quite noisy thus making conversation hard. However we did have a nice time here. Wait servers were kept busy and the meal was not rushed.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp but not many handicapped parking spots

Overpriced Trash. Was there on July 11, 2022. Menu was a fixed one. Waitress service and demeanor sub standard even for a kid with a summer job. Ordered the Jerk Salmon. There was nothing Jerk about it, it was a regular salmon fillet with to my knowledge of jerk seasoning, has Walkers Wood Jamaican jerk sauce on it, not marinated. It was not seasoned it was undercooked as well the center was raw — I asked the waitress if this is supposed to be like this she’s like yes that’s how they cook it (?)— half cooking seafood that is not sushi grade isn’t a good thing let alone the menu doesn’t state it’s cooked halfway (not worth the money at all). The appetizer tuna nachos for @ $15 was overpriced for 5 small pieces (waitress didn’t say it was small ). The flounder /fluke rolled up, zero seasoning and bland, also overpriced. When I asked the waitress if I can have a side of rice, her reply was ..”we don’t do that here..” ( how about you entertain me and go fake it like you asked someone and then come tell me it’s unavailable). Then after that we overheard another waitress mention the specials at this place, ours did not mention the specials at all, until we asked after we ordered. And she’s like yea, a lobster special. And also overheard the other waitress 100% telling her table the specials anything you want to add or change in the order much more professional - etc. I would normally not bash a place like this but this waitstaff in general seems to me only cater to the local elderly Hampton crowd that have zero clue what cooked and seasoned fish is suppose to taste like because this food isn’t worth money. Salmon fillets are not sushi grade. It’s meant to be cooked through, If you’re going to throw “Jerk” Salmon on the menu, use actual jerk sauce for the marinade. And on top of all that the bartender, watered down my margarita with margarita mix and and tiny amount of tequila. Unfortunately I’m not going to name the waitress like I said it’s a summer job, most likely . I’m sure she’ll know who’s writing this. Management needs to retrain the staff and the chef and cook need to be on their A Game for these ridiculous prices . Not all Hampton diners are elderly rich people looking for overpriced ($20) margaritas and bland food. Goto Rumbas for better food and drinks, less of a pretentious crowd. Apparently the owner of the restaurant blocked my review bc it seems it’s listed as spam. I’m going to find the physical bill for this place because I guess I may have hurt someone’s feelings there. And I’ll repost my review again. Why have reviews if the owner or google censors it. I am NOT saying not to go or anything else I’m reviewing based on my experience and the owners clearly don’t care because they did not even bother to reply. UPDATE: 8/2024- looking over some of the reviews bc Google sent me an update, it seems Google or the owner(s) of this place took down MY photos of the subpar foods. As I said I’d never go back here but I do hope at this point in time, they have a better chef, cook and better servers. And to date Not One person in management has reached out to for even a insincere apology or or to acknowledge poor service. And a fyi. I DO go to other businesses not necessarily restaurants and if I like the customer service bc it was great and stands out I will post a review and if it’s poor and stands out like this place I will post a review. Hopefully
There’s new management. And it was in poor taste to delete my photos and submit to Google to have my review removed. Shows a lack of professionalism from a restaurant.

This is a beautiful spot right by the ocean and you’ll pay for it - over 100 dollars for a mediocre lunch (for two) that likely cost them 20 dollars to make. That’s the Hamptons for ya!

We waited 45 minutes at the bar for a drink and there were only 6 people there??
The bar manager was extremely rude yelling at the customers that she was understaffed and if they didn’t want to wait Oaklands was next door? Very unprofessional!
At one point she screamed in this older woman’s face because she received the wrong drinks!!
All of the customers were sharing what s shame this place was because of the bad attitudes of the staff!!
Oaklands here we come!!

What a lovely place!! We waited at the new outside bar for our table and then were placed at a wonderful table for 3 downstairs by the boats. We ordered the crab meat pasta, linguini and baby clams, and the crab cakes: all perfection!! We had a bottle of Sancerre which was recommended by our awesome server Sarah and it paired perfectly with our entrees! A must visit spot in the Hamptons !! Will def be back
