OK, go for the view, stay for the food and linger for the service. This restaurant is the epitome of fine and casual dining all wrapped up in a beautiful log cabin like setting. Our server was professional and friendly. Cocktails were top notch (yes, you must have Luxardo cherries for a good Old Fashioned). Coconut shrimp was good but the kick to the dipping sauce made it great. I had seared Tuna accompanied by noodles with peanut sauce. So amazing I could do the 5-hour drive just to get another order. My husband's prime rib was perfectly cooked, sides were great (not just an afterthought). And all this priced far below the more "high end" restaurants in the area. Run (no pun intended), don't walk, to this most excellent establishment.

River Run Restaurant has the best steaks and appetizers in town. The service was outstanding. Carol was friendly, as well as the other servers helping out when needed. They are a great team! Overall it is a wonderful restaurant with a breathtaking view! Went back a second time and had Jessica as our server, she was awesome! Thank you for providing us with great service and food!!!

We were married here 2 years ago and came back for our anniversary. We had dinner in the tavern. The service and food were great. It was a Thursday and busier than expected. I just love this place and can wait to come back each year.

Bartender made an excellent dirty martini. The seared tuna is amazing make sure to order rare. One downside is it is too bright in the bar area. But they have multiple dining options bar, inside and outdoor patio. Best option in the area.

We took a reservation for the 32 of me and my family on vacation. We had great food using apps and food. Everything was good and we had great service. They also helps the few of us that was allergic to gluten. I would come back if it was nearby.

This is a beautiful log cabin restaurant over looking the river. You need a reservation because it can be very busy. The menu is not extensive but everything we tried has been excellent. I got the pasta with shrimp and my wife got a steak. Bar service was good but a little bit slow. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. We will be going back soon. You can also eat on the deck with a better view of the river. downstairs is a wonderful bar and the full menu.
