Went here for dinner on a whim, very glad we did. Nice cozy atmosphere. Everything was top quality, the drinks, the food, the desserts. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. Oh and the french fries are some of the best I've ever had in my life.

Just completed our second visit to Cafe Deux. It is great to see an independent, small business thriving in Harrison and potentially leading the charge in upping Harrison’s dining scene. The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. The braised bacon is a highlight on the menu, the sharing plates of French toast and Dutch Baby superb, and steak & eggs are solid.Highly recommend over any local diner.

An absolute gem of a restaurant! My husband and I tried it for brunch for the first time this weekend and enjoyed it so much we came back for dinner days later! The food is exceptional (both brunch and dinner!), the ambiance is terrific - very warm vibes, and everyone who works there was so nice! Highly recommend trying!

We ate here today for the first time with some friends. The food was absolutely delicious! Tuna salad Nicoise was large and perfect, quiche was awesome and the avocado toast was spot on. The warm baguette with butter and jam was as good as any I've had. There were a couple issues which prevents me from giving 5 stars. First, I ordered a Bombay Sapphire martini, and had to wait close to 10 minutes for it. When it arrived I took a sip and immediately knew it wasn't Bombay Sapphire. I sent it back and it was replaced, and I'm not certain the second was correct either. Secondly, the pace of service was glacial. At the end of the meal I ordered an espresso and it took so long I told the waitress to cancel it. I had already eaten dessert (a chocolate croissant that was decadent!) and paid the bill, and the waitress brought it over, saying it had just been made and it was on the house. During the meal our waitress didn't come by the table a single time, and it did take quite a while for our food to arrive. Overall, the food was delicious but the service was something that will not make us rush back.

We came for dinner this past weekend, butternut soup was the perfect winter starter. Cocktails were delicious, the grapefruit spritz (can't remember the exact name) was so good and my husband's spicy margarita had the exact right amount of heat. The rigatoni maison was fresh and delicious and my husband said he is still thinking about the burger 2 days later. The inside was warm and cozy and the service lovely.

What a surprising delight! We dined at Cafe Deux for their brunch service and it did not disappoint. Everything was tasty and well-presented. The service can be on the slower side but sometimes there's no need to be in a rush. We're definitely excited to try their dinner service next.

3 strikes - never again. Tried once and food was good but awful service. We didn’t get our drinks till well after our food was served and we had to ask for them. Second and third time there was an issue with the hostess and seating. The second visit never got seated, skipped over us etc. so we just left. Today they just seemed confused and unorganized. We decided to go somewhere else as we were waiting with 3 empty clean tables and no line. The hostess didn’t even offer us one of the three empty tables just said, “hope to see you again.” I shook my head no and left. Sad because the food was good but absolutely horrible service three times is a pattern. We will never go back again.
