Friendly environment. The owner is a great person. One of the best and freshest seafood. Stop in at Gus market, you won't regret it. You will actually keep coming back for more. Highly recommended. Check out the in house chicken salad ? it's awesome ?. They have stepped it up beyond past reviews. In my opinion things have to go wrong to keep getting it right. Nothing is always perfect. Keep going forward and correcting any mistakes. In my book you guys are still in business as that speaks volumes overall. ???

I heard the fish was great, but the flounder I bought was full of live red worms. Not pleasant to watch them wriggling while cooking...I read online this depends how the fish is stored, and that it's best to let the store know. The reason for this review is because they were completely disinterested, let alone apologetic.They may be harmless when fully cooked, but honestly I'm not young, and in all the years of buying and cooking fish, have never seen that before.I think other stores must take more care.It is very offputting.

Just a horrible experience with our take out food.We ordered lobsters and they sent without butter...without Cole slaw and many other items that they either got wrong or they never sent.We should have known since we called 3 times as they were not able to take our order.Sorry Gus, do a better job!
