Excellent food. True down home cooking. Real food. Don’t think twice. Come in, relax and wait for the great food.

Food is good, plentiful portions, and decently priced.
Definitely 'off the path' but don't be deterred! Only one gentleman was working when we visited, but he was super nice...he does EVERYTHING so be patient.

We were pleasantly surprised! We were the only family in the restaurant and a little nervous, but the owner waited on us and cooked for us. If you are looking for a great meal, definitely a must stop! The seafood platter was fabulous and the homemade meatballs. My daughter enjoyed her raviolis also! 3 of us had Chicken Gumbo and they enjoyed that as well. Again a place to definitely check out!

Good food, friendly service, fair price. Can't ask for more.

Family restaurant with quality food and service. The veggies in the omelet were fresh. Cooked perfectly, thoroughly but with a slight crisp when biting into, even the tomatoes cooked but still had their shape so not mushy. French toast was delicious and soft. All around gGreat homecooked quality. Great way to start the day.

Sometimes, you should judge a book by its cover. Just keep moving. Read the 1-star reviews not the family and friends 5-star reviews. There really should be some way to verify reviewers.

The owner is verbally abusive to his servers. I whiteness this and have never been back. I advised the young girl to leave, she need not take the abuse.

I’ll start where it matters - the food is awesome. Best eggs and toast I’ve had in a while. Chef was running the whole show, working his butt off. So be prepared to be patient and the food will be worth the wait.

Stopped here on my way through. The place is clean and the food is great. The special of the day was fried chicken and it was probably the best I've ever had. The gentleman that runs the place is friendly and makes sure you don't leave hungry. Will be returning again as I have opportunity.
