Great food and very friendly service. Its not much of a restaurant and food is served in to go containers, but that didn't matter to me because of how good the food was. We had the fried chicken with greens, mac and cheese; the pulled pork sandwich and the corn souflee. All were great. The greens and cornstifled. were exceptional. The chicken was juicy. They have a spicy green sauce that is very hot and different than anything I've tasted. Ask for it.

I ordered the jerk chicken. The chicken was cooked excellent but the jerk sauce was so salty I honestly couldn't eat it. I would give it another shot. I just hope they see this and adjust their recipe

My friend took me here as it’s the few spots she goes out to eat at. I will never forget this place as it is the best food that I’ve had since living in New Jersey

They charged me just over $60 for this plus a water bottle. I’ve never written a negative review but that was incredibly unfair.

Great little family owned bbq spot. I’m not usually a big bbq fan but I stopped by here with some friends and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the rib tips meal which came with an ample amount of the rib tips, baked beans, Mac n cheese and corn bread all for only $20. The only downside was the cornbread it could use some more moisture but everything else was fantastic. Definitely would go again.

I picked up a Home Plate Sampler for our weekly family night get together. It was more food than I expected. Super nice and friendly service. And we all LOVED the food!! It was a great choice and I was the hero LOL. We will be having this again and again. Thank you Big Daddy.

If I could give 10 stars I would!! First, of course, the food- WOW, just WOW!! Fall off the bone ribs, crispy fried chicken, amazing corn bread and on and on. And then there’s James and his family- an absolute pleasure to deal with. I couldn’t recommend Big Daddy’s enough!!

Whenever I am in the Haverstraw area, I HAVE to stop at Big Daddy's. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the corn fritters (little crunchy sweet pieces of heaven), closely followed by the corn souffle; but everything that I've ever tried from there is delicious. We're big fans of the brisket, the pulled pork, the Mac & cheese, and the Soul Food Parfaits. The staff is always friendly, the food is ready when they say it is and never disappoints. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for BBQ.
