“Finding QUALITY AUTHENTIC mexican food is hard in Rockland. But this place checks all the marks. No random peas or lettuce in dishes that dont have it. Great salsa verde (sometimes it is a bit spicy, so careful folks). Delicious chilaquiles. Great torta. Hand squeezed orance juice. This is a hidden gem. Somewhat easy to park.”

“The Grilled veg panini and vegan cheese and chickpea curry empanadas were all very good! Would definitely recommend you give them and a try. Also really enjoyed the sweet potato fries were well seasoned and tasty.”

“A small cafe that serves the newly built water front development. There is only few tables inside, but a nice outdoor seating area. We were pleasantly surprised by stumble upon this place by searching Google. The food was fantastic, we ordered a salmon dish which was cooked to perfection and a nice cheese burger with sweet potato fries. The portions were abundant, tasted delicious and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed it!”

“Good food. Hardly speak English when calling to place an order. Plus how do you have Mexican people running an Italian restaurant??? That just doesn't make any type of sense! I have to keep repeating my order several times before it sunk in. I'd recommend just going there to eat. But overall the pricing is good and the food is great even though it's Spanish people taking over the art of great Italian cooking. It's still a decent place. Better than Mariella's Pizza.”

“AMAZING! Customer service and food quality was 5/5 stars!I ordered lunch for my office and each one of us was able to eat a dinner sized portion for under $10 a person! I called and spoke with a really nice gentlemen, who was super nice and helpful when it came to choosing what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering a family combo (beef ribs, pork ribs, and chicken) with rice and beans and a whole chicken with veggies and fries. It fed 7 people with some food still left for another 2 people. Will definitely be returning!”

Best time is after 9pm or so. Or during the weekday.”

“Top notch Mexican food at a great price. Aquas frescas are amazing, authentic, and at least 20 fl. oz. Prices are perfect. Small dining room, but they do not cramp the tables together. Spanish-language talk shows or telenovelas on a 50" screen blare their Central- and South-American equivalents of nonsense TV. It all makes for a perfect combination of a good lunch somewhere.The food is top notch, with the chips/salsa plentiful. Want guac? It's homemade and, if I recall, $8 for a ton of it. Their plates will overwhelm you, again, for a reasonable price. Plus, seasonings are spot on.You have to go there. Tip well. I know I will again after a luncheon there once upon a random time.”

“I’ve been all over the South and have had BBQ everywhere I’ve went. This place is as good as it gets. Everything is great but the highlight of the menu is the Carolina Chopped BBQ. Top 3 BBQ dish I’ve ever had. Heavenly.I wanted to share a story about this place. We were in the mood for BBQ on a random weekday night. We had four big hungry guys and I wanted to try the then new Home Plate BBQ so naturally I ordered a massive feast. Big Daddy himself hand delivered the food up the hills of Stony Point. As he handed me the big bags, he thanked me and told me how much he valued my order that day because they hadn’t been terribly busy at the time (a few years ago). I never forgot that gesture. Since then I’ve recommended it via word of mouth so many times and I realized I never wrote a review. I’m glad to see this place has become a staple of North Rockland. This place is the real deal.”
