I loved the ambience, the sound of Mexican music, colorful Mexican decor, a wonderfully accommodating waiter, Jose, coupled with delicious authentic-tasting Mexican food was a treat for my senses. The generous portion of food was bursting with flavor. The entire experience at Mariana’s Restaurant was well worth the ride from Manhattan. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mariana’s Restaurant. “Emilio, the owner was very pleasant & accomodating. Though I ordered the steak in a sauce with Rice & Beans. He wanted me to taste his wife's chicken in a cream sauce -- he provided me with a small plate which was amazing. Everything was delish -- like my own home latin cooking. The black beans came very close to my own -- which I take great pride in making. It was a throughly wonderful experience. Let me add that La Panaderia has the best Latin food in Peekskill. The juices are to die tor.”
