I loved the ambience, the sound of Mexican music, colorful Mexican decor, a wonderfully accommodating waiter, Jose, coupled with delicious authentic-tasting Mexican food was a treat for my senses. The generous portion of food was bursting with flavor. The entire experience at Mariana’s Restaurant was well worth the ride from Manhattan. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mariana’s Restaurant. “Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

I’ve taken my immediate family ,taken friends , when my outer states visitors come is the first place they get taken to also!! Really everything is made fresh and there’s not one dish I can pick over another !! Can’t wait to get back from Puerto Rico to get some real tacos !!! Pa alante !!!”
