“The cashiers aren't interested in greeting with a warm hello and a smile. They really aren't interested in clearing the lobby as quickly as possible.I felt as though i was interrupting a mass coffee break. I received eye contact from more than one staff member, and as fast as they acknowledged me, i was ignored just as swift.They were one employee who was more than helpful and welcoming. I am disappointed in myself for the fact that i failed to get his name.He was carefully packing the bags for online orders, and he flagged a disconcerting cashier, and i was then able to place my order.He was a well-spoken tall African American gentleman who took pride in his position. I just say his attentiveness was impressive.Whatever this gentleman puts his mind to will have a positive impact on society. Thank you for making my lunch enjoyable!“

“We were headed from NJ to Westchester and looking for an early lunch in Nyack. This place IS A FIND!!! We both had the Main Street wrap and it was DELICIOUS. Place is clean (including bathrooms), great service and very reasonable prices. Look forward to coming back over the bridge just to eat there again.“

“I really liked the staff who greeted us and was extremely helpful. I left my phone inside and he came back and found me by my car to give me my phone. I can't say much about the food as i only ordered shake, which was great. however in general I stay away from chains with burgers on menu, that's why it is only 7. a the employee name was William. thank you William.“

“The best Applebee’s. Feels like family every time I walk in. Everyone is always so polite and friendly. The food is always ON. POINT. Kudos to the kitchen manager!

“Grass Roots Kitchen is such a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, the space is clean and inviting, and the prices are very reasonable a rare combo these days. I loved that there were options for everyone, whether you're craving something hearty or something lighter. The Buffalo Cauliflower bites were a standout perfectly crunchy and packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!“

“Finally checked this restaurant out. We loved it! The buffalo wings were soo good. We also had the frings (half onion rings and half fries). Great option for those who love both and can't decide like me 😬. The homemade baked apple slices were DELICIOUS. Service was really good. The staff was very attentive. “While out on an evening walk, my husband and I decided to have a spontaneous date night at Grub, which is in walking distance from our house. The food is amazing, nice variety including Vegan/
Vegetarian options, delicious desserts, and wine. The service is top notch. Our server, Ava was awesome. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend!“

“We used to walk there from the house over 50 years ago. Pick up a dozen Dilly Bars (I think they call them Buster bars now). I always knew the staff because we grew up together. So much more than memories !“

“The white castle that's been here for decades went through a remodel during covid times.
Long gone is the window to see them cooking the sliders and the bench tables.
Now it's cut and dry interior of tables and chairs and window seats with a large space in the middle where additional tables could have been placed.
They sell merch: tshirts and caps and some other items.
The menu has expanded a bit more, so you have beef, chicken, fish, impossible to choose from.

“All the places I frequent in haverstraw and I’ve never seen this place. I have to say the fish and fries were excellent, well seasoned but not salty. The people there were kind including the owner. I like the diversity of the people and music. Overall very nice experience for both my sister and I.“
