We celebrated a family members 50th Birthday. The food was good. However, a couple of us ordered empanadas which arrived inconsistent with size, texture and taste. The other entrees were pretty good. Service was fair. Bring a jacket/sweater it can definitely get a little chilly by the water.

You can't beat the atmosphere at Don Coqui. That being said, you pay for it with the prices on the menu. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was just ok. If you are going out to enjoy the atmosphere and don't care much for the food, then this is your place.

We had multiple servers so I couldn't really narrow it down to whom my primary server was. Gratuity already added to the bill. I've been coming to this location for years and even traveled 3 hours to come here because my past experiences have always been top tier however this visit the shrimp Mofongo which is my go to was not to par and the serving size was much smaller than usual.
