Chef Michelle is amazing. She enchants her guests/customers with her charisma. Very friendly and personable. Her culinary skills are hors pair, she never disappoints. LATALAYE is by far my favorite place to go for a sit down cozy birthday celebration/dinner with friends, take-outs and meal preps for the week. I highly recommend LATALAYE, you will not regret it.

My wedding was a month ago and let me just start by saying that my family is still talking about the food. My family is very picky and always complain about the food at weddings since it's typically flavorless or bland and you can tell it's made in a rush but when I tell you that Chef Michelle is AMAZING at what she does, she really is. Not only is her food absolutely delicious, she is so reasonable and so easy to work with. We were about 125 people. My family is Hispanic and my husband's side is Indian and we have friends from all over the world and everyone enjoyed the food. It was beautiful, delicious, and she provided food for everyone's food restrictions. So may people came up to me saying that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I was so happy. She really did a great job at providing something that everyone would love, no matter the nationality. She has such a calm vibe and sometimes I would be super stressed out and Chef Michelle would just tell me "it will all work out beautifully, don't worry." And she really makes it work out. I have issues with my venue due to the pandemic and she was able to help me find a new one. She met me on several occasions to go over the menu. She really goes above and beyond for you. She really helped my wedding be the wedding of my dreams. She's an amazing person and the best Chef.

I bought a shrimp meal from the Ramsey farmers market last week and it was absolutely delicious!!! I e mailed Chef Michelle and she responded quickly. I got to meet her today in person at the Ramsey market and she is so gracious and friendly. I bought another meal and some empanadas. I’m so excited to try everything she makes. You can tell her food is made fresh, and with love. I am happy to support such an amazing woman

La Talaye is amazing. Our favorite place in the area by far. Chef Michelle is so kind and so caring. Her food is the most delicious medicine you can take for yourself!! We recently got a to-go order for a few days of meals and the last days bite was as fresh and flavorful as the first. She really sets the bar higher than you can find anywhere for quality, taste and customer service. Thanks!!

Reviewing restaurants is one of the things I love the most... The restaurant I will review is not only an amazing restaurant; the chef of this restaurant is one best human beings I ever meet. Passion, happiness, flavors and great customer service is what you get every time you walk inside "La Talaye" for dinner... Perfect balance on food taste and environment. Graduated from RCC College in Culinary arts the chef (Michelle) try different fusions with fresh and organic food Haitians plates that tastes like heaven... This restaurant its a must visit if come to Haverstraw for dinner... Stop and try it .. You won't regret.

Michelle's food is so amazing that words cannot fully describe, but I will try. First of all, all the ingredients are extremely fresh and healthy! And, beyond delicious!!! Bought her Shrimp "Gumbo" at the Farmers market in Nyack yesterday and ate it at the top of Storm King Mountain. She makes New Orleans dishes as if she was a native Creole. Slammin'!!! Made my day!!! And really, everything she makes is wonderful. If you haven't tried it yet, you're cheating yourself!! What are you waiting for???? Towner Galaher

Amazing restaurant! The owner Michelle is so sweet and her food is delicious. I had my birthday dinner here and i truly enjoyed myself. Real, authentic, flavorful Caribbean food is found here. Please visit when you get a chance. You will never leave disappointed!
