This McDonald’s in Haverstraw has become a serious problem for Uber drivers, especially at night. Many drivers have had the same experience, and most now refuse to pick up orders from here after dark.
When the lobby is closed, drivers are told to park their cars and walk to the drive-thru window, in the middle of winter when it’s cold and windy. This is unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unreasonable. On top of that, we are often ignored at the window, even when the orders are clearly ready. Staff don’t come to the window, don’t respond, and won’t acknowledge drivers—even after knocking and waiting for a long time in the cold wind.
When one Uber driver finally spoke up, an employee said they were instructed by the manager to handle drivers this way. If that’s true, it shows extremely poor management and a lack of respect for delivery workers.
This location wastes drivers’ time, treats them unfairly, and creates unnecessary frustration. Until management changes how they handle delivery drivers at night, I strongly advise Uber drivers to avoid picking up orders from this McDonald’s.

they wanted us to wait for our order standing outside their window at 4am while its 23° outside 🤨. got mad at my bf cuz we stayed inside the car waiting cuz its cold, weird behavior. then procedded to help the ppl that got here after us, do better.

Only reason why I get this place three out of five stars, is when I order here; My orders are accurate, and that’s not a problem for me, which I’m pretty sure we all are satisfied with our orders.
But if you are DoorDashing here, fair warning: when McDonald’s is closed inside and you’re in the drive-through, mind you they are gonna tell you to wait outside and stand at the window no matter what season you’re in (even winter if it’s 0 degrees or worse), and they are more rude to DoorDash workers then to customers. Regardless, this is not the best McDonald’s to come to…

Horrible experience ever I had to wait 42 minutes for my order and when I got it I left with out looking at it he bag and there was a missing item ! So disappointed 👎👎 adding another drive thru makes the thing worse you should hire more employees to handle all of those orders ! Disappointed ☹️ in them

Soda is always flat I thought I’d enjoy a soda I haven’t had one in months and what a surprise it’s completely flat and watered down even with light ice. Fries are never fresh. And this is the 2nd time in 4 years I actually got my good handed to me at the window. The worst McDonald’s. They should have put there money elsewhere because what they did to the drive through didn’t help any I think it made things worse I’ve also waited at times over 10 minutes for my food ordering ahead through the app to pick up through the drive through

I don’t like leaving negative reviews… but every time you order from here, they forget to put something in… wether it be mobile or delivery. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but literally, they always forget SOMETHING guaranteed. One time it’s an Apple Pie, the next it’s your actual burger… 😭😭

ZERO STARS!! Absolutely unacceptable policies and extremely rude staff. This location forces delivery drivers to walk up to the drive-thru window—on foot—through active traffic, even in heavy rain or late at night. It’s dangerous, inconsiderate, and completely unreasonable. Employees are rigid, unhelpful, and show zero concern for safety. Serious changes need to be made. Worst McDonalds location!!!
