Conor was absolutely fantastic! He is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and took the time to explain the wines in a way that was both educational and enjoyable. You can really tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it made the tasting experience even better.
We also truly appreciate and respect the winery’s welcoming, pro-immigrant values—it speaks volumes about the people behind the wine. Between the atmosphere, the mission, and outstanding staff like Conor, this winery is one we’ll happily return to and recommend to everyone.

The view, the wine, the company… this is a special place. In an area with a (wonderfully) superfluous amount of wineries, it can be hard to stand out, but this place certainly accomplishes it. Connor was a huge part of why our experience was so lovely— we very much appreciated Connor’s approach to the tasting, expertise, and apparent passion when it comes to wine and the finger lakes. Wonderful wine list and even more wonderful staff! Knowledge, entertaining, and so thoughtful. Went with my girlfriend and we had the best time. Plus they have beautiful views of Sceneca lake and great sparkling wines! Connor and Coley helped us and they were the best. A bright spot of our girls trip!

We’ve been quarterly members since summer 2024, and likely would’ve been for years. With anticipation we were back in FLX to visit and couldn’t wait to visit our fave winery, we walked into the tasting room literally minutes ago and he told us (with an incredibly unapologetic rude attitude) that without our cards there would be no free tasting, nothing. It’s 2025, use the computer and look up our membership. Period. He didn’t care, he was incredibly rude, loud, obnoxious and this was the only moment on this trip my heart rate got above 100, and I’m a marathoner. I’m disgusted and disappointed, Connor was horrible and IMO doesn’t belong front of house anywhere much less a winery in the middle of 1,000 other wineries. We’re leaving right now and heading to another!!

Leidenfrost is still our number 1 vineyard when visiting finger lakes. Always good dry reds. The Cab Franc and BacoNoir are excellent . Kirsten was our tasting barista and she was very knowledgeable on their wines and also enjoyable to chat with. Recommend!
