What an absolutely lovely stop. We always make sure to go there at least once on every trip to Seneca lake. This year we finally broke down and joined their wine club. Needless to say we now stop in even more often. The smash burgers are to die for and the friendly staff is the best. High marks to Roxanne for having such an amazing and knowledgeable staff who are a joy to spend time with, you know Danielle and Liz. We look forward to our next visit. JEFF & Marina
Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Went because one of the close by wineries that have food, glad we did. All the staff we interacted with were exceptionally nice. Food was good (grilled cheese and wine, come on - what a combo! (mad I never thought of that)) Wine was good. Sat inside with a good view, but if you want to guarantee an outside table, make a reservation. Would definitely recommend.
Easy parking as expected.
This place was awesome. Our waitress, (forgot her name)(short, hiker) was the best. She made our experience 10x better with the laughter and stories. The food? Holy cow. Get the grilled cheese smash burger! You will thank me later
Quiet deck area to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Dog friendly
Great wine, great food, great people!
Visited several wineries and found Red Newt to be our favorite. The Circle Riesling is to die for. Blue Newt white was great too. Hummus platter was excellent and the classic newtburger was out of this world!!
We were served by a very gracious young lady. She was thoughtful, caring, and very understanding of my wife's Gluten issues. As always, the service we have received at the Red Newt was just perfect.
Very nice staff and pretty views of the valley. Food was good.
Our server, Liz, was excellent.
Friendly & efficient staff. Wine & Appetizers Excellent. Nice Harvest Host Overnight.

We had a nice snack and a couple of flights of wines. I should have done a tasting, as the flight selection was a little limiting, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, and sitting out on the deck was lovely. Matt and the other staff were pleasant and helpful. We liked the wines but the one my wife loved was a little over budget for us so we did not get a bottle to bring home.
Highly recommend!! Wine was delicious and refreshing. They were not only gluten free AND dog friendly; they also served some of the best GF bread I have ever had and served my dog a tasty pup cup. He says 10/10.
We had the pleasure of visiting Red Newt Cellars for the 4th of July weekend and I can’t recommend it enough! The bistro offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The menu is thoughtfully curated, showcasing delicious dishes that perfectly complement their fantastic wines.
What truly stood out to me was the staff so friendly, attentive, and genuine. They went out of their way to ensure our experience was enjoyable, making us feel like more than just customers. Their warmth and enthusiasm added to the overall charm of the place.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a lovely spot to relax and enjoy good food and company, Red Newt Cellars is a must visit. We'll definitely be returning soon!
Quinoa salad possibly best we've ever had.
Smash burger and grilled cheese would have been at home at a brewery, delish. Server was knowledgeable and attentive, great view outside
