We had a delightful tasting experience with Meredith and purchased six bottles of wine. Our only disappointment was the tasting fee was not waived despite our significant purchase.
Wow. Wines are so yummy. thank you. Perfect for camping.
Nice venue, excellent wines, and exceptional service! Flexible tasting options for a spectrum of wines - something for everyone!
The wines were incredible! The staff were absolute sweethearts! Definitely recommend!
Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.
The wine was ok, I mainly tried the reds.
The patio was beautiful and the staff were nice.
Grace is hella knowledgeable + charismatic. Our tasting was fun + informative. Thank you, Grace. You’re very fruit-driven! <3
Stopped here as we drove through on our way home from vacation. We did a tasting and were very impressed with the wines and with our server Grace. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines on the tasting as well as some others we asked about, and was friendly and fun to talk with as well. A great experience.
We absolutely fell in love with this sweet winery on Lake Seneca. Our experience was just wonderful. We especially liked the Rieslings which is what we were looking for. Our host Meredith was very friendly and informative. We greatly enjoyed their patio for wine and a great charcuterie! Stop in here when you are in the Finger Lakes! You won’t be disappointed.
We had such a great experience here. Meredith helped us choose our flights based on what we like and she was spot on. We enjoyed flights on the outdoor patio overlooking scenic views. Between two of us, we tried 6 different wines and each one was unique and delicious. We took a few bottles to go and will definitely come back.

It was a Wednesday.
We came here on a whim, and it was the best experience. We did a guided tasting: Our guide was a really nice girl, (bright blue eyes, dark hair, wearing an orange top) I wish we could remember her name. But she set us up for a weekend of success and wine tasting. She was intentional in her explanations of each wine. She helped educate us on what we were looking for and all around made wine tasting approachable.
The wines themselves are nice. I regret not purchasing a bottle at the time.
We had a great time, enjoyed the wines, and talked at length with the very nice staff.
Came to Newt Cellars on Saturday to celebrate my son's engagement. Lovely building with a great tasting room upstairs. We were told by a friendly host that an event was taking place upstairs but we could go downstairs for a tasting at the bar or seated for a flight. Downstairs was very nice also and we figured we would order some flights. After a few minutes, an older gentleman who was our waiter approached us in a rather odd fashion. He seemed hostile and aggressive. Not sure why exactly. Had we not been there for a special occasion we probably would have walked out without ordering. He did eventually lighten up and the flights were enjoyable but I do not imagine that we would ever go back. His mood really put a damper on a very special day. We've had so many good experiences at so many other establishments in the area.
Red Newt is a beautiful venue to sit and relax with some wine and appetizers. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's pet friendly in the tasting room too! Highly recommend their wines.
We stopped here for the wine event. The wine sampling was good. Nothing stood out for me so we didn't end up buying any but they were good. The staff were very nice.
