“Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“
“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“

“I really liked the sweet plantains but the churros were super small and came in the pieces but ice cream was large for no reason cause the churros were literally smaller than my fingers , I liked the the empanadas and the street corn a-lot , they’re were also kind enough to send some extra sauce that I asked for , they were super friendly on the phone .“

Their wings are delicious, the mozzarella triangles are a must have, and if you like pretzels the giant pretzel is amazing! Justin, our server and the bartender, was incredibly nice. “Beer is cold, place is clean, food is actually very good. Good burger. Great fries. chicken pot pie +++.But, the star of my visits is their chicken tenders with fries... Amazing! My first grader LOVES coming in here and sitting down to munch on their chicken tenders with fries. I also get them take out at least once a week.Lovely quaint spot.“

“It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. If you're in Sea Cliff on the north shore of Long Island stop by Gallagher's for a drink and some great food. Travel safe and keep healthy. All the best to you all.“
“Second time at the Bayhouse and it was okay. Bayhouse is definitely a good place to go for a nice view. You can see the water from every part of the restaurant. I got the boiled seafood combo that contained flounder, shrimp, broccoli and potatoes. It was definitely breaded and topped with a lemon sauce. Flavor is definitely there, but I will say the sauce was very oily. Crème brûlée cheesecake was 10/10!! Overall the food was good. Although our server was nice service was very slow.“
“What a fun place with a great crowd!Whiskey Reds is definitely more of a neighborhood hangout spot but they keep out the bad crowd, retain the good crowd, and there are a lot of laughs in-between! The bar is bigger than it looks and expands to the back with a pool table. The bar area itself is the place to be with a great crowd and TVs showing sports. All sorts of drinks and beers are offered here with something for everybody. The bartenders (especially Charlie and Jen) are incredible. They offer a small food menu if you need something to go with your drinks. There is also a jukebox full of different types of music if you want to request a song or two.“

My review is based on the band that was there, which was fabulous, the ambience, which is great & the bartenders are excellent, one bought me a drink, which these days is unusual. “What an incredible bar! One of the owners, Dan, is such an awesome guy! He was playing in the band and conversing with all of the patrons. The bar is awesome with live music and great food! “One of the staples of Long Beach. Real cool, retro, beachy sports bar with good food. Billy is the man and he's always around. Bartenders are always friendly. They serve food late. Big round bar with all the tv's and games on. Menu is diverse, they got tex Mex stuff, awesome wings, burgers, tidbits. They have sandwiches and quesadillas and other entrees. Great place to go catch a game and have wings and beers or just go out to eat and have a laid back quality meal.“

“Bayview tavern is truly tucked away in Seaford. It's a pretty unassuming spot but pretty good. Our server Carol was very nice and had a welcoming energy as people came into the place for lunch. Now this place didn't blow me away but also was pretty good for a very casual lunch. They have specials almost every weekday that run I believe all day in addition to happy hour special which are 3-6. My dad got the $5burger. It's a plain burger and additions are an up charge, even cheese which I feel like could maybe just come on it. The burger was a little bland but cooked very well and the bun was nice and fluffy. We got the chopped baked clams. Those were good. They were kinda cheesy which I've ever experienced. I liked those. I got the clam chowder and it was actually very good. It was kind of a mix between a New England and a Rhode Island. It wasn't quite a clear broth but not super creamy like the New England. It had a ton of clams. The oyster crackers they gave me were incredibly stale but could've been an oversight. Not somewhere I would go running back but maybe for their HH or something.“
“We walked in off the street on a Friday night around 6 o'clock and found a sports bar with lots of TVs and a small dimly lit restaurant area. I had seen this place in yelp several times but never stopped in before. I did remember I got lots of really good reviews so we decided to try something new. It was definitely no frills but the food is the attraction here. We were greeted by the owner, chef AJ, who bought the place last month. All the reviews were a year old so I said to my wife "uh-oh". It turns out the only thing on the menu was chicken and ribs, we ordered two combo plates. The chicken was delicately fried and a dry rub style crust so it wasn't breaded - just seasoned. It was perfectly cooked and tasted terrific. Even the breast meat was cooked thoroughly but juicy and tender. But I'll leave the best part for last. The ribs are to die for!! They are bite-thru tender and juicy and the bbq sauce out of this world. It's sweet yet tangy with a little bit of spice that makes you wanna pu your lips when eating and lick your fingers every time cause you don't want to miss a drop. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the decor was pretty depressing. They need to bring in a little bit more lighting and a few more tables, But as long as Chef AJ is cooking I'll be back!!“
“I ate several meals here over a 4 night stay. Breakfast is delicious and the burrito is out of this world. Dinners are great and I especially loved the seafood pasta. Nice casados as well. Had lunch everyday here and I always got the ceviche. Excellent! Guillermo is an amazing host and a great guy. Lara, his daughter was a great hostess as well. Loved this place and it made me feel at home.“
