Cute little place in Hamlet. Had the BLT with chips. They use pork belly for their bacon; a thick slab that was very good. Chips or fries --I had the chips. Pleasant and efficient service.

Cute little nook and our server was so sweet and friendly. I got the regular pancakes which tasted good, and my husband got the Country Girl (fried chicken on a biscuit with sausage gravy). It had great flavor but was very dry, so he requested additional gravy. A few minutes later we heard the cook shout to the server “if he wants extra sauce, he has to pay for it!” And then the cook continued to berate the server about staff issues like servers not talking to each other and “that’s why we are in the situation we’re in.”It kept going and we felt very uncomfortable. For her part, when the server came back over to us (in this very small restaurant where everyone can hear everything), she was still just as sweet. Not sure if we were charged for the additional gravy; the check wasn’t itemized. Would have been a much better experience without the airing of dirty laundry.

Really frustrated at the service in this restaurant. We came here for lunch and we heard only good things about the lemon ricotta pancakes and we made sure we ordered that as soon as we arrived.Waitress didn’t really check on us that often but when we got our food, a couple of the main items were missing. No lemon ricotta. Our steak was very rare that we had to send it back.Waitress comes back and says that the kitchen messed up the order and there weren’t any more lemon ricotta pancakes. Feels like the staff was very frazzled despite not having many customers in the restaurant.Overall, will not come back unless they train their staff properly.

Excellent spot for brunch, breakfast or lunch. Came here with a friend for breakfast. Food was on point and interesting, well designed menu. Service staff was very friendly and attentive. They remembered my friend from her prior visits. No hesitation if you are looking for a great breakfast brunch or lunch in Windham. Oh - importantly I thought the prices were very fair and offered a good value for the quality.
