“Overall was decent experience. Two items we ordered they were sold out of which was not great to hear. Waited quiet a while for a few of our items as well. Chanterelle and lentil dish was by far THE STAR of the show excellent!! Delicious cheese cart as well and plenty of solid wine choices to go with. Would go back for sure!!!”

“We went to hike Kaaterskill and stopped here twice. Not only was the service fast and the food yummy, but they were so hospitable. The first night they helped us get oriented to the village and gave us a run down of what was open/closed/available. The second day, after a couple issues (had some hiking gear stolen), they fed us on the house. It made our day a little bit better and that’s what life is all about. Highly recommend to anyone passing through. These are some good people all around.”

“My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us. We would highly recommend Prominence!”

We had a great morning enjoying delicious doughnuts and coffee lounging on the lawn. I always heard how good the doughnuts were but don’t sleep on their coffee. ☕Very tasty pairing.

The doughnut experience… 🍩We worked our way through plain, cinnamon sugar, apple cider and the maple bacon. You have to start by judging a plain doughnut. Fred’s delivers. It’s a nice combo of cake and a little crunch with a nice vase flavor. Then it gets better from there. Cinnamon sugar is solid staple. Apple Cider adds a little fruity flourish. Then you can get a little decadent with the maple bacon. Loved the real bacon chunks and the light sweetness of their maple glaze. It’s a great sweet/savory combo.

The folks there were super nice. Two Thumbs up for service. 👍👍

“I've been to other locations but this one was the best when it comes to atmosphere. I requested to sit by the stream. Listening to the stream and nature while sipping on coffee was memorable. I had ALWAYS loved their food so complaints. I just wished the waiter was checking in. It was hard to get his attention. Ex. He would give water and dissappear or give the bill and dissappear for a long time. I had the egg sandwich and Joe with beef chili soup.”

“Food was very good. You can tell they make everythig homemade - especially the bread. Felt my glass of house wine was overpriced at $12, but the area as a whole is very expensive.

Its dog friendly and we had a beautiful mountain view from the covered porch area.

I got the chickpea sandwich which was delicious, although unexpectendly spicy. For me it was fine, but just mentioning it for others.

Definitely reccomend.”

“This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.”

“Celiac accommodating and aware! used a separate pan for my daughters eggs and toasted her toast on the grill to avoid cross contamination in the toaster and griddle! Priceless knowing my daughters meal was safe. absolutely delicious..she cleared her plate! gluten free rice Krispy treats too!”

“This area does not have lots of food choices. Most of what you find is mediocre at best. Then comes Lucky Catskills. It was like seeing a mirage. What is a place like this doing out in the sticks. We had the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. They sold out of the dumpling. It was good for what is worth. I would recommend if you are tired of the typical sandwiches and fried foods that’s all over this area. Change of pace.”

“We have grown up getting ice cream and going to the Twilight General Store. We will miss the previous family who owned it and are so so very happy that another long-time local family has bought it and is excited about keeping the tradition going. They are so happy and sweet!

Definitely stop at the store- whether for fresh scoop amazing ice cream, adorable souvenirs and cool t-shirts, or the much needed food or beer that you just ran out of!”

“This is my favorite pizza in the United States! The crust is exactly right: not flat and also not deep, and with just the right texture - a tiny bit crisp and also dough-licious, the sauce is distributed the way I love it. The onion, mushroom and green pepper are fresh and not overly-portioned which would make it soggy, but just the perfect amount. I just enjoyed four slices and had to say thank you!”
