“drive by all the time when we are in town and it was finally open. we are usually here on the weekends. nice and comfortable atmosphere. Casual dining. well worth the money.”
“Went on 2/22/24. This was a cute restaurant with an attentive staff and a decent menu. The rigatoni with "Sunday gravy" was very delicious, though it was overwhelmed by too much sausage (a Sunday gravy should have a balance of meats). I thought the shrimp stuffed with crab appetizer and the fried zucchini appetizer were soso, and I was put off by them charging $7 to share a plate though.Overall not a bad place to go.”
“Soooo good! I stopped in and impulse bought a key lime pie bar and biscuit. Both were fresh and outstanding! The key lime pie in particular was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had LOTS. It’s a favorite. Craig the dude at the counter was also so nice and just cool.”
“Six stars for food and service. Excellent gluhwein mulled wine is homemade. I have a potatoe soup and a German burger. It's absolutely amazing food quality and price combination.”
“Absolutely love coming here. Truly one of our favorite breweries ever - mountain views, friendly staff and patrons, music playing, fire pit, dogs, great beer - you really can't beat it. We almost didn't come here at first because it was out of the way from where we were, but so glad we did - it's 100% worth it to make the trip! The food trucks there are always fantastic too - just check their IG or website to see what time they leave (we missed them one time when we came later in the day, our fault). Added bonus is the brewery's merch is great - we typically don't buy brewery merch but their designs are awesome (and good quality too - have been wearing my orange and black West Kill beanie for years!).”
“Holy yummy. ! This place is delicious. We were running late to pick up the food but they were understanding and even let my mom use the bathroom before we headed back to long island. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: The yellow submarine was phenomenalDietary restrictions: They r so accommodating to food allergies”
“Delicious!! The Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. I had the pancakes with a side of fruit my husband had hd the eggs Benedict and it was great, will definitely be back.”
“Phenomenal food. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the dips, particularly the whipped feta. Their steak & potatoes were perfectly cooked. Sit outside by the fire & bring your pups!”
“Totally blown away by how amazing the coffee and donuts are here in such an underdeveloped town. I visited here for the first time from nyc and this place even beats the coffee/donuts there. Most importantly it was super cheap. The gentleman who served me was also very friendly.”
“The twice fried french fries are a must, but really everything is good. Also the best place for cocktails in the Catskills. Becomes a great scene on weekends with live music. Worth checking out.”
“If you are Windham when this place is open you must go! No questions asked the best croissant of my life. So rich and delicate. Quiche is unreal and the coconut macrons are to die for”
“Only GREAT things to say about this establishment. Server was exceptional, energetic, and knew what she was talking about. All modifications to menu items were accommodated. Best of all - The live band on Saturday night was a blast to listen to and hang out by. We will be coming here every time for our annual ski trip.”
“On a Saturday MaMa’s was the only restaurant that would take our order. There was a bit of a wait, but we were so grateful that they actually answered the phone and didn’t hang up on us like a few places in Tannersville. It is cash only and they offer coke products in bottles. We ordered wings and a white pizza with broccoli. The ricotta was a little weird in texture(not sure how else to describe it but all 5 of us noticed it). overall it was a good pizza and we were starving by the time we picked it up. if you’re having trouble getting service elsewhere on a busy night call MaMa’s and they will take care of you.”
“This is a take out restaurant that is the best it's ever been in over 20 years. Fast, reliable, delicious. Great wonton soup, even the wife's French fries!”
“I love looking for coffee shops everywhere I go and stumbled on this place after we hiked Kaaterskill Falls. Their Black Bear Burger is a MUST to try. I also had their Jolene which paired well with my burger. If this place wasn't on the opposite direction of where we needed to go we would've came back the next day just to get burgers to go! ?”
“Cozy diner with classic styling. The food is good and the staff is friendly. I got chicken parm and spaghetti off of the senior discount menu and it was quite tasty. I came with a hearty cup of soup, rice pudding for desert, and a coke. All in all, good food at a good price.”
“Must do stop when in Hunter. Hours are limited off peak season. But makes your day between 8am to 3p for your coffee and snack break. The daily made brioche makes you a fan, especially with their local butter and jelly. I am a huge fan of their coffee which is just hot enough where you get the hit of coffee smell to validate its freshness. The bathroom is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive. And local merchandise makes nice house warming gifts.”
“Great place on the mountain top for drinks and food. Cool vibe, delicious food and tasty drinks. Nat's is always one of my favorite stops during a ski weekend!”
“The twice fried french fries are a must, but really everything is good. Also the best place for cocktails in the Catskills. Becomes a great scene on weekends with live music. Worth checking out.”
“Rating based on dinner only. So far this is the best meal I’ve had on the mountain. We started with the mussels, had a Caesar salad and the salmon as our main. The appetizer and salad were both larger than expected. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The dining room was so cozy next to the fireplace. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.”
“WOW WOW WOW I just purchased two small bags of cookies at the popular Stormville flea market. The lemon white chocolate chip is DELICIOUS. I haven’t tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie yet. I’m hiding from kids while enjoying these cookies!”
“Cool little store located just outside the North/South Lake campground. They have a bit of everything, including camping supplies, food, clothing and even ice cream!”
“Not only was the food delicious, service amazing and had all around great vibes, the staff and management were some of the nicest and most genuine people my party and I have encountered.Kid-friendliness: I don’t believe there was a kids menu but our party consisted of four kids under the age of 6. Everyone was happy! Kiddos loved the lemon sorbet too!”
“A must stop when your on the Mountain. Fajita's come out sizzling and everything on the menu is great. We live in town and go a couple times a month. Oscar, the owner, has top notch hospitality too. The family loves it.Parking: Free street parking and a parking lot around the back.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly”
“Absolutely loved the vegetable burrito I picked up here. Loaded in fresh delicious ingredients! Lovely staff, cozy casual environment! Can't wait to go back now for a great dine in experience! Welcome to Windham!”
“Wonderful jewel of a restaurant in our sleepy little corner of NY. Service was awesome, food was phenomenal - we both had the prime rib, cooked perfectly btw, and I had the mushroom soup which was rich and delightful. For drinks my fiance had beer but for me hands down one of the best whiskey sours I've had. Def ”
“Wanted to get pizza for lunch , came in to Windham pizza with not a lot of good expectations ( I’m Brooklyn born so it’s very hard to impress me with pizza)Boy was I wrong … this pizza wasza soooo good . My husband and I had a new positive comment to make after every bite . Brooklyn worthy A+++++. So happy to have this at Windham”
“Fast service and amazing food. High quality entree items for a diner—stuffed shrimp with crab better than most restaurant entrees. The fruit juices could be better though.”
“Great restaurant for families, food is very hearty and not crazy expensive. Always have a decent experience when coming here. A staple of the area with good live music on rotation and a nice outside area in the summer. The waitress/bartender wasn't the most attentive last time we were there a week ago but we had never had a bad experience with staff prior. Must have been an off day.”
“Absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. Jae was extremely nice and really took care of us. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and we look forward to going back to Day June.”
