You won't go wrong taking this bread home to your family. Delicious, healthy and clean ingredients. If you suffer from inflammatory GI conditions, give Heidelberg a try and you'll be hooked.

We buy the french peasant and raisin breads and we love them. We feel really good about eating it because it's Non-GMO project verified.

Discovered your French Peasant Bread at our Rochester Costco. We make the best toast and grilled cheese sandwiches with your delicious bread. Great ingredients and made in a peanut free facility. Thank you!

Where's the Bread ?

Says you are closed mid day on a Wednesday....hope all is well. Reason why I checked is because I am not able to find your bread anymore. The distributor is Gold Medal Flower, delivering to all the Shaw's Market chains in New England. You have the best bread and its all I buy for past year or so since finding you. Hope supply picks up !

I usually would not buy bread in this price range, but my daughter and I love this brand. We just make sure to eat it quickly (not a problem there!) or freeze it and thaw the slices as we need them. I think it's worth it, and I don't miss all the preservatives that make other bread last longer on the counter.

I Distribute Bread. This is by far, the best bread for a Commercial bakery. My Friends and Family Enjoy Heidelberg Bread variety. My son in law, makes Tuesday Toast at work for his colleagues, and they Really Enjoy the toast and Rave about their treat !No preservatives, can cause mold during the summer months in particular ! At home we either refrigerate or freeze immediately for sustained freshness. All in all, this may be the Best Bread available ,with many accolades,to includeNon-GMO source.A big bonus for those health conscious bread eaters??

This is the best bread I have had in a long time. Each one I’ve tried has been flavorful and hearty. Wish our local stop offered more variety. Happy to have found you!

On a recent trip to Rosendale NY, I was served the sourdough in a restaurant… immediately after eating ran to the nearest supermarket and purchased 2 loaves to drive back to Pittsburgh…. Will definitely be ordering.. best sourdough I’ve ever had!!!!!! (PS… I would rather have this bread than almost any dessert!) Thank you Heidelberg…

The best rye bread

This bread is better than candy!!!i just tried the raisin sunflower toasted and it is absolutely delicious. I grew up eating salt rising bread (only made and sold in southwestern NY). Every time I go home I bring back a couple loaves but it is just NOT the same and only lasts a few days. Raisin sunflower will be my replacement. I have even been able to get my husband OFF white bread!!!!! Horrah!

Love your bread. I only buy the multigrain….but you really dropped the ball on the “new” multigrain. Ugh! Not as firm, not as crunchy when toasted and hardly fits in a standard toaster. Bigger isn’t always better. I want my original multigrain!!wah! Wah!???

i always get the whole wheat but the last 2 loaves had mold on the day i bought it and had at least 5 days before expired

I have bought Heidelberg bread a couple of times. It is delicious! I bought a loaf of the Jewish Rye on 7/10/23. It had a 7/20/23 sell by date. 0n 7/15/23 I put it in the refrigerator to try and prevent possible mold growth. On 7/17/23 I took it out of the refrigerator to make a sandwich and mold was already growing all over the bread! Three days BEFORE the sell by date! I was not happy! This bread is costly at $5.29 a loaf! I had only used a couple of slices of this bread and had to throw the remainder away! I cannot recommend this bread due to its quick mold growth!!
