I have had many items from this place and they have all been amazing. The spinach roll, chicken parm roll, pizza, etc. Their vodka sauce is fantastic and I was hooked on it for a while. Then I tried their bolognese sauce. I have eaten spaghetti bolognese in Italy, London, and probably 20 different places in New York and NJ. The bolognese at Alex’s is top 2 or 3 and I can get it without having to go to Italy. Huge portion and so delicious. Super friendly staff as well.

Just to let everybody know Alex's pizza is under new ownership for about 5 weeks. The name is the same but all new employees. So no longer Alex's pizza. Don't know if the pizza and dinners taste the same as before. Alex is suppose to open a new place in the area. Will probably return to the original Alex's pizza, new location, once he reopens again (hopefully).

Moved to the island from queens a few years ago, and this place is as good as the good places in the boroughs. It is a huge difference for those that know- know. Price is great, and it’s top quality with nice people. Don’t go to the white bread Italian pizzerias I don’t care know owns them they taste like bread. This is it
