Bagel Boss Hicksville

I am a very patient and positive person. The man who checked us out had a MAJOR attitude with us which was extremely uncalled for. First, he gave my husband a hard time about ordering bacon (yes we know it is kosher, & yes we know it was soy based). He talked down to him like he was an idiot. Then, gave us shit for paying with card and charged us 4% card charge so just be aware of that. The entire experience was unpleasant. I bit my tongue and did not say anything at the time but left feeling extremely uneasy. We had done nothing to warrant such an attitude. There are too many bagel places on LI to be giving customers such a terrible experience. It left us super confused and safe to say I will not be returning & sharing my experience with others. After reading other reviews—I feel validated, it’s clear the employees here need an attitude check.

I stopped in today as I often do to buy 3 lunch specials, which consisted of a perfectly grilled salmon and two vegetables. The portions are large, the salmon is moist and tastes great!
I also bought bagels. The bagels are warm and always fresh, and the taste is the best in comparison to any other bagel shop in Syosset and Plainview.
All the baked goods are made on premises, and are always fresh and taste great!
The service was 5 star, thanks to Isabela who helped me- always nice, friendly and patient.

I am so beyond disgusted from my visit this morning. Will never come here again, not like it’ll be a loss to the business as they have many patrons but I will never pay them a single dime.
Deceiving place to go. Make sure you actually get what you’re ordering and they don’t replace it without your knowledge.

I don't get the hype. Worst bagels I've had on long Island.

Very disappointed the first time I was there great service this morning 7:10 am I was totally ignored I had 3 people working there look at me and ignore me I guess being the only African American in a bagel shop is an issue…..

Would give them a zero if I could. The flagel is as not even a flagel. Looked like a regular bagel and had the nerve to charge me over $8. Rude girl just sits there stares when I reiterated “ how much again?” Would never come here again. Please stay away… better places around here locally who won’t rob you for a bagel and cream cheese. Horrible customer sevice.Inspite of ordering online way ahead of time,the staff had no idea of what was ordered and the big guy at the counter hasn't even checked the orders when we reached there.Literally no rush at the store and they are just too lazy to work.He finally managed to pick up my order and was slower than a snail packing the order of a few buttered bagels!; and guess what he even messed up my order by not giving me the custom ordered items on top of all this! The Bagels are okay but honestly lost my appetite just by seeing their subpar attitude to customers.Pathetic customer service!! A complete waste of time and money.Would not recommend buying from here or even worth visiting!
