I took my family there tonight. Dad was in a wheelchair so they were kind enough to open the back area for us. Service was fast and food was in generous portion and taste great.
thank you very much for everything.

I was disappointed during my recent visits in the last 2 years. The staff, particularly Sunny, was consistently rude and unwelcoming, lacking basic manners. The food, which used to be good, has become substandard. It’s frustrating to see such a decline in quality and service. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I found this place only after another restaurant failed miserably to make a "Vegan" (Cheeseless) pizza, and what a stroke of luck it was. Chennai Dosa is a wonderland of Delicious vegetarian and Vegan food. The menu is giant and varied representing different regions of Indian Cuisine. Everything is vegetarian, but there are plenty of Vegan options and they are clearly marked. The Iddly in Sambar were PERFECT. Nice Sized Iddly, Great texture and a rich and savory sambar. The Spinch Masala Dosa was fantastic, and spoke for itself why this place is named after the Dosas. Our favorite entree was the Gobi Manchurian, which 2 days later I was fighting with my family for every leftover piece of Cauliflower. AMAZING flavor, crunchy, Sweet, and a little spicy. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the Samosa Chat. I like Chat, but it was a bit yogurty for my taste, and I wouldnt recommend it for takeout, as the Samosas get soggy pretty quickly. What also puts Chennai Dosa on another level, is the quality of the chutneys and sauces that they bring out with the entrees. Overall, this place is incredible. The restaurant itself is pretty simple looking, but with the menu Chennai Dosa has, I could easily spend a month here, just trying out all the dishes and flavors, till then i'll just dream of its flavor packed delights.
Waiter was rude, missing food, and some appetizers came after main course.

Title: A Mixed Experience at Chennai Dosa - Quick Service, but Room for Improvement
Revisit had improved test thank you
I recently visited Chennai Dosa with my family, and we had a mixed experience. We arrived around 2:30 pm, and to our surprise, they were about to close by 3 pm. We managed to place our order just in time, and the food was served quickly. However, the preparation time was too short, which affected the quality of the dishes.
The Rava Dosa was crispy, but it came with broken pieces, making it difficult to eat. The Lemon Rice was also a letdown, as it was too bitter due to excessive lemon pieces.
As someone who's in the business, I understand the importance of prep work. Unfortunately, Chennai Dosa fell short in this aspect. Despite this, the overall flavor of the food was okay.
I hope Chennai Dosa continues to uphold the legacy of South Indian cuisine, which is known for its rich tradition of side dishes like Sambhal and Coconut Chutney. With a bit more attention to prep work and quality control, this place has the potential to excel.
