These are Jamaican hand pies. They have quite a spread but the best I have tasted is the curry chicken. Good amount of meat in each pie. I got two and it was good enough as a dinner for me.

Located towards the front entrance and left side entrance of Broadway Mall (across from the Kung Fu Tea kiosk) is a delicious Caribbean stand. Their beef Pattie's are so tasty and even the entrees like oxtail with rice is solid and authentic. They always have desserts packaged up and I've wanted to try but next time!

The Broadway Mall in Hicksville is slowly but surely becoming a GREAT place to find ethnic foods. I've been to Irie Delights a couple of times and they do not disappoint. I've had their j*** chicken, curried goat, oxtails and spicy beef patties and they've all been very good. Why not more stars? Well, it's a take out only and there's no place to easily sit and I have to take everything into account. Based on the food alone, though? You won't be disappointed.

Got a spicy beef Patty and it was the right amount of flaky and chewy and it was just on point. No complaints and great experience. I’d come back to try an actual dish.

I enjoyed my experience . 15 mins from my job- 15mins to my home so a nice in between stop. I got the spicy patty with coco bread - wish the patty was spicer- I'm from Jamaica so I like everything spicy . I re-heated the coco bread when I got home . I also ordered a large curry goat with white rice and side of Mac and cheese . I rewarmed everything when I got home and it was delicious. I added the hot sauce to the curry I like curry with a kick . Overall definitely going back . Everything was clean and visible . The guy who helped me was friendly and helpful. The mall should help with advertising small businesses like this .

This was such a treat and definitely better than other choices in mall and area. Finally got us some Caribbean/ Jamaican food !!!!!! Food was delicious and I will definitely be going back!!!!!!

I'm so glad I found this spot! I was craving a home cook Jamaican meal, and that what I got. Maxine and her son were so helpful. I totally recommend this spot 100%. I ordered oxtail with rice n peas and Mac n cheese , it also came with fresh salad so good! Don't mind the pic I had already dug into my meal.
