Very enjoyable dinner as expected. This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest Afghan restaurant in Hicksville.The service was great. Resturant was nice and clean. The food was everything I was hoping for. I shared food with my girlfriend so we could really experience more flavors. We started with the sambosas, which had a nice crunch to them. We got a few kababs with rice and quabili as well as the lamb shank. Both amazing. Tender meat from both and all unique flavors from the lamb to the chicken to the beef.Highly recommended to all, and it's just a stones throw away from the highways.Parking: Parking up front.

I have come here several times with family and have always had a wonderful time dining in. The owner and his family were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and the meat had the right amount of tenderness. The salmon kabob had a very buttery taste to it, which was definitely my favorite dish. This restaurant overall had a very homely atmosphere and I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try Afghan food.

Lower Food Quality and high price.need improvement in food Quality. Polau doesn't mean boiled rice in pure water with brown color. The polau they offer completely made with simple water. No spicy no condiment. Polao is always cooked in chicken or mutton beef soup, not in simple water. They charged almost 22$ for one platter (take away) for such low quality polau? That's Insane.

Engaging humorous and a perfect host.Lawand is a MUST have! Any of the meat is always tender. Naan is another must have. Pairs well with any of the stews for dipping.Grilled plates are so tasty. Perfect portions cooked to perfection. You can taste the difference between all the meats, chicken, beef, lamb. Excellent.I cant say enough about this restaurant. Absolutely a must to visit.

This restaurant should have 5 stars on google! The food was so delicious! We have the kebab platter with chicken, beef and lamb and it had very good flavor. The sauces at the table were also very good, the white sauce and spicy sauces. The decor was very nice. Plenty of space and tables. Slightly cold temperature but it warmed up quickly when the food came. The waitress and owner were super friendly and funny and personable. They gave us a free dessert to go as well! Can’t wait to go back!

Going to Kabul Grill was just like going to Kabul. We had a heavenly mixed grill of unctuous marinated beef kebab, sublimely roasted chicken morsels and perfectly anointed minced meat skewers. The rice was like your Afghani grannie makes it. A savory coriander chutney and tasty yoghurt sauce spiced things up. A rosewater scented pudding was the fabulous finale accompanied by cardamon tea. The dashing owner served us with panache as did his lovely daughter. They are associated with a similar place on 9th Ave named Ariana. Can’t wait to try other of their specialties. I ate there with my family. They gave us bad chicken. We told them that there is a bad smell in the chicken but they sweared it’s fresh it’s the seasoning. We all got food poisoning from the food. I would never go back there .

Had an amazing evening at Kabul Grill in Hicksville , NY . The food was great and delicious and the service was equally good. It felt like I am at home . The owner was personally taking care of the guests at each table and attending to every request with a smile !I would always recommend to visit this restaurant and also very good for any celebration as well
Rafi was superb, we felt very welcomed. Loved everything we ordered. The chicken mantoo was delish, the hummus and naan bread was fresh. We ordered a flavorful lamb curry, and mixed platter. And ended our dinner with a must try, Firnee a traditional afghani pudding for dessert. Def coming back!
