Amazing food! Very delicious. We got the family platter which had kabuli rice and a variety grilled items. The meat was very flavorful and well cooked. They are also HFSAA certified, so you can rest assured it is Halal/Zabiha.

I dont know what happened but the last one month the cooks have been terrible and careless. Ordered in advance and given cold rubbery food twice. The food has always been delicious and served with care before. Place needs better kitchen management to return to how it was before. Most likely won't be returning since I don't want to gamble with my purchase. 50/50 shot at being served good or bad.

Kandahar Grill is a hidden gem for authentic Afghan food. The kabuli pulao and mantu were outstanding…..perfectly seasoned and generous portions. Chicken tikka and chapli kababs were juicy and flavorful. Service was friendly and quick. Easily one of the best Afghan spots on Long Island. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The food was alright. Nothing special. Im sure devour power got it better as it seems like they solely care about food bloggers more than regular customers. I wish to have a better experience again. And hashmat bekhi ghwaramal wu. #dapakiranugrill

The food was basic. The owner seemed stingy. Overall, bad experience and i would rather go to a more authentic afghan cuisine than them. Vibes were dead inside but i can understand why. Overcharging way too much. Hashmat needs to take it down a notch.

Day by day their Kabab size getting smaller. More than $19 food, not worth at all. Nothing special. Not anymore in this restaurant. Not recommended at all.

I’m very disappointed in Kandahar grill I went today evening to eat food with my mom and we had waited almost 20 minutes for our food upon arrival it was decent the chicken nuggets weren’t even chicken nuggets just tasted like fried feathers and the zinger sandwich wasn’t even properly made no wonder it was so empty in the restaurant lack of quality in the store. Anyways the total came out to almost 60$ for 1 chicken tikka and SANDWHICH combo 9 peace nuggys and 1 soda how does that make any sense for a restaurant to be charging outrageous pricing shame on you guys for being scammers. Not to also mention you guys charge 75 cents for bread what type of Afghan restaurant is this you guys are making afghans look very bad sharam waki stop spending money on advertisements and invest in the quality smfh

The best Afghan restaurant on Long Island!! My family and I come here often. It’s always authentic, fresh and delicious. I recommend their lamb chops, chicken tikka and chicken kofta with qabuli rice, and chicken shawarma. The owner and staff are always so kind and attentive. We love dining in on a Sunday night.
