Since the closing of our, (my family and everyone we know), our favorite thai restaurant, I've tried DOZENS of thai spots in nassau and Suffolk in the last few years and nothing has come remotely close. Maybe for a specific dish here and there but not all around. When I ordered the other night I was very hesitant based on the 4 stars but then I remembered our old spot was the same way cuz the woman running the place wasn't exactly the most hospitable. So I gave it a shot and oh man am I glad I did. The tom yum soup is the closest I've ever had to our old spots. Its phenomenal and has HUGE shrimp in it. And although its not necessarily cheap its def not as expensive as some places, like a place that just opened in levittown. Their prices are insane so I've kept looking. I also got beef pad see ew with mushrooms which I was a little let down with. It looked amazing and the container was packed full but when I took the first bite it was really lacking flavor and sauce, fresh tasting it just needed a littttle more flavor. I saved it overnight which is usually the worst thing you can do with those noodle dishes, they turn to a giant block. But for some reason this one after nuking in the microwave came out loose & delicious (and I added a lite mixture of my thai sauces I keep at home). That changed my whole opinion combined with the tom yum soup. I will definitely be ordering again very soon and the biggest test next will be the Mu Yang Takrai (pork chops grilled and marinated in garlic, lemongrass, galangal, lime juice...etc). We used to drool over it at our old spot and we'd order as appetizer when dining in and take out. So im hoping it exceeds my expectations and is full of flavor, not dry, and has that slight bit of char. With all that being said, as a thai food obsessed person as u can see, im glad to have found lemonleaf grill.

They recently renovated the place and it has a clean sophisticated look. Food is very good, maybe not 5 star but very good. Consistent quality have never been let down

I’m so glad that they renovated because this has become my new go-to spot! You can’t find another Thai place in long island that’s this pretty & the food tastes just as good as the restaurants i’ve been to in the city.

I am writing this from the parking lot, that’s how pissed I am. These people took my pick up order at 6:31 pm and it is now 7:40 pm and its still not ready. My baby is getting cranky in the car and I am stuck here because they decided to charge me first and then realized they didn’t even give the chef my order to cook. Awful service, no amount of renovations will fix that. Get better staff, who aren’t just smirking and walking to the back when things get stressful.

Beautiful renovation and I am suspecting a new chef or management because the food taste is different and better than before. Definitely will be back for the dinning experience.

Ordered the beef thai basil and guess what? Just gave five pieces of meat and it’s all just bell peppers.. they are charging so much money for this dish and not giving any meat. Never ordering again.

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and all the staff are courteous, pleasant and nice. There's plenty of parking in the lot right in front so I couldn't recommend more for family gatherings, dates, work functions, friends gatherings or just a quick bite to eat.

The food is consistently good, but the service is consistently inconsistent. Atmosphere is mediocre. Price point is decent.

Last visited this place 17 years ago for a pre wedding dinner. Loved the food then and love it in 2025. Undergoing renovations and still wonderful service with a smile although we turned up 45 mins before closing. Accommodating but tired hostesses helped us to select and food came out quickly . So impressed thank you ...back to Florida tomorrow but glad we had a chance to eat at LL grill.

This place has the best thai food! I've been eating here for years! I moved to the west coast but I make sure i eat here every time I come to visit. I have tried thai food from different places around NY, Las Vegas and California.....and nothing has come close to this spot. The tom yum goong soup is to die for! They have the best Pad thai hands down, spring rolls, chicken satay, lemongrass porkchops are some of my favs. I hope this place never closes!
