The service is always great and food is excellent.

Punta rojo does have good food but their service & their sauce cups are a joke !! How does someone spend over $20 for some empanadas & all you get is 1 sauce cup. & the sauce cup has 2 drops of sauce in it !!! This is absolutely ridiculous ! If you can’t provide adequate sauce cups, get out of the food business. Absolutely Ridiculous, DO BETTER PUNTA !

Any location I go for a Punto Rojo they all give attitude and treat you like if your asking them to give you things for free.

We placed an order for pick up today. The last two times we took out food from here we learned food was missing when we got home. Today it happened again! When we called to place the order we specifically told them to make sure everything was in the bag because of happened the last two times! This is so frustrating! When we called to complain, the person who answered the phone simply blamed us for “leaving the bag behind”, when we took all that was given to us. They said they ran after us but we were already gone, but I don’t believe this is true because they could had called us and they didn’t. This is ridiculous! We order food from Punto Rojo every week, even tho the portions have become smaller and they charge you extra sauce, when they don’t give you enough sauce to start with. The sauce container is very small and they don’t even fill it all the way. We may have to find a new Colombian spot. Very disappointing.

“I recently ordered takeout from Punto Rojo and was shocked by the ridiculous fees they add on for to-go orders. Not only was I hit with an additional ‘takeout service fee’ that seemed completely unnecessary, but the overall cost ended up much higher than expected because of these hidden charges. The quality of the food did not justify these inflated prices—nothing special at all. For a place that markets itself as authentic Colombian cuisine, the taste was underwhelming, and the portions were just ok. I felt ripped off and won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other Colombian spots in town that treat their customers better and don’t gouge them with fees for taking food to-go.”

We had no problem with the service, but when we ordered a coffee we did not understand why a restaurant as popular as this one only handles cardboard cups, if we were consuming in the place it was impossible for there not to be crockery cups like in any restaurant, and they also gave us miniature forks to eat beans, I think the quality is going down.

I have been treated disparagingly for using Doordash. And they are all the employees who act like this with anyone who is not Colombian, it happens several times and not only in this location in all the restaurants of this chain. I really feel racist treatment.
