Worst experience ever. The service is very slow. There’s one person working the cashier and the kitchen. Got one drink. Had to wait 45 minutes. Tasted basic. Never going back

Absolutely delicious and innovative bubble tea

Pyo Chai in Hicksville is already a top-tier spot, but my recent visit took it to another level. The atmosphere is cozy and the chai is consistently perfect, but what really sets this place apart is the staff—specifically Asad Patel.

I’ve been to a lot of spots, but I’ve never seen anyone work with the kind of hustle and genuine charisma that Asad has. He’s easily the best employee ever. He’s attentive, knows the menu inside out, and genuinely cares that you have a great experience. It’s rare to find that level of service nowadays; the man is a straight-up legend.

If you’re stopping by, pray that Asad is on shift because he makes the best chai in the game and treats everyone like family. Absolute 10/10 experience—don’t sleep on this place!

We usually love the chicken momos and the sauces they come with. But this time the white sauce was so watered down, basically tasteless. Instead of the regular sweet chilli sauce, they gave us a tamarind sauce that did not taste good with the momos at all.

Boss man needs to come up and audit this joint.

How, in God's green earth, does a person order a falooda drink and it comes out whiter than an albino baboon.

0/5 - pls fix

This used to be a go-to spot of mine for the delicious flavors and kulfi milk teas, despite the firm, commercial-quality tapioca boba. However, recently, the middle-aged female cashier decided to gaslight me, insisting that I would earn rewards for my nearly $20 purchase. I asked her twice to allow me to put my phone number in to earn loyalty points but she appeared to intentionally close the transaction screen despite my request. When I asked if she could go back and add my phone number, she said “don’t worry, you already earned points” which I obviously didn’t because we could both see I hadn’t entered my phone number and the card I paid with hadn’t been registered with my account yet. This was very inconsiderate in my opinion, especially considering $100 spent used to earn you a $5 reward, but now you have to spend $200 to earn a $4 reward.

As a loyal customer of PYO CHAI Hicksville, I’m seriously disappointed. There’s a middle-aged woman—staff or owner, I’m not sure—whose constant unprofessional behavior is causing delays every time. I arrived at my exact pickup time and had placed the order 35 mins ago on call yet my order wasn’t ready because she refused to get up from her phone. The front desk kid had to call her three times just to bring out my dumplings.

This isn’t the first time—it’s the eighth time I’ve seen her sitting on her phone, ignoring customers, slowing down orders, and giving attitude. It’s unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

I was really disappointed to find the store closed at 10:11pm, even though the hours say open until 11pm. I made a 30-minute trip here and left empty-handed.

I wasted a 45-minute drive coming to this store. Posted hours say open until 11pm, but at 10:22pm the doors were locked and lights off. If a business can’t honor its own hours, it should update them. Very unreliable.

False hours listed! Store claims to close at 11pm, but at 10:11pm it was already shut down. I wasted a 30-minute drive for nothing. Terrible experience.
