This place is a hidden gem under new management food is excellent and husband and wife owners are very pleasent and respectful. Authentic afghan food from herat. Food is always freshly prepared and delivered quick. This review pertains to samovar it has since changed under new ownership not good as before.

My family held a wedding party at this restaurant. The night before we went to decorate and we asked for some water and they gave us one cup. We asked for some more and they were like how much water do you guys drink. On the day of the event the service was very poor and when it came to lunch time they were very stingy about the amount of food they were giving. Never book this place!!

Tried this family owed little restaurant. We ordered lamb kebab and lamb gyro that we really like it, not too salty or saucy and moist taste like home cooking that’s exactly we love it. Always want to support family owed little restaurant. One thing is they need to well prepare before so the customer don’t wait for too long for the order. But absolutely delicious

The chicken kofta kabab with rice & salad was delicious. Very flavorful yet not over seasoned & not dry. I also appreciated that it didn't contain crunchy seeds in it. The tandoori chicken was also delicious. Friendly service. Not a fancy restaurant but comfortable & clean nonetheless. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind that the signage outside has a different name. The Samovar sign is seen on the glass window. I plan & look forward to dining here again.

We are very much happy with our experience at this restaurant. It was Mother's Day, so me , my two sisters, and nieces wanted to be together and have dinner at somewhere special on this special occasion. We chose samovar. We got in, and we all ordered our preferred food. The food had this authentic taste to it. They were just amazingly delicious, all the credits to the chef, of course. Aside from the food, this place is very much neat, the atmosphere is very friendly, workers are very professional and nice. Their hospitality is just beyond words. For us, it'll surely be one of the most memorable Mother's Day we've ever had. I highly recommend this place.

I came here back in December. On a cold winter night, the delicious qabuli rice and tender lamb warmed my soul. The mantu was delicious as well and the service was friendly. I can't wait to bring my mom here too. Soon, inshaAllah. Please come here and bring your loved ones for authentic and delicious Afghani food!

The worst food and service ever got, the pictures on the site have nothing to do of what you're getting, the lamp was dry , hard and tasteless, the service sucked no waiters, the cashier was the waiter and the cook and the janitor and the dishwasher and I don't know what else, we were charged like they had waitresses, never ever again, McDonald's Would've been like a 5 star restaurant compared to that. I went there because on google it shows that they had 4.8 stars that was fake guys it's terrible.

Been here a couple times and the food reminds me of my grandmothers cooking (well, the Afghan foods not the sandwiches obviously). The employees here are nice and hospitable. Would come back here for the apps.

Ordered from this place few times before. I usually go with a gyro and fries, which are excellent. I wanted to try something new today and decided to go with Chicken Qorma ($18 with taxes) and was somewhat disappointed. The amount of chicken, which was also over cooked, was enough maybe for the half of the rice they gave me. I would be less disappointed if they gave me more gravy, which was very flavorful but they shorted me on that too. Definitely the star of that dish was the gravy and rice.

This place was great!Came here for an event where the restaurant was rented out. The staff were all kind and the food was outstanding. My favorites were the grilled beef and chicken kebabs - they were delicious.Would recommend this restaurant and will be back if I'm in the area!
