Ordered food to go once, saw they had an iftar buffet, came back with my family a week later and I’m so glad I did! The food was delicious!! Great service, highly recommend!!
I remember trying Spice Diner a couple years ago, way before the pandemic, and I wasn’t as impressed as I have been with their food lately. My husband and I loveeeee their fish chili appetizer, we eat it with naan even though it’s an appetizer lolAnd their lamb biriyani is so flavorful.Everything we have ordered the last few times have been amazing. Might be our new favorite place in Hicksville. Excited to try their other items.

I am writing this post to warn you all! I went to Spice Diner restaurant last year and i found hair in my food and a dead roach on the plate. So i told Deepa ma'am about it and she said that this is how all restaurants are and that these things happen, but said not to worry the kitchen is super clean. I stopped going for almost a whole year. I recently decided to give them another try and went back again. And i was so shocked to see that they had the same problems. bugs IN my food, and several crawling all over the walls and floors around us. Once again i spoke to Deepa ma'am and she said that the exterminator had recently blasted the place so that is why they are all over the place. And once again she said that the kitchen is very clean and that she herself eats from there after i told her that if this is what it looksblike here, then i dont want to see the kitchen. She did not even offer to do anything about it for us. We all lost our appetite and left the restaurant with full plates. Such a shame to have your restaurant in this condition and not care about your customers. After this horrific experience twice, i can finally say i am officially crossing them off my list for good! Never again!!!
