Best in this area so far! I ordered on Uber eats and Uber mixed up my order! So I needed to go here in person to get my actual order and this place was tiny and actually so cute and well done. I even posted it on my story :) I'll definitely stay for lunch next time. The foods yummy and authentic and the workers who I've spoken to were really patient and great with me they were warm hearted and apologized for any mix up even though it wasn't technically their fault they took the loss. Will be back and back and back. Viva la raza lol

Simple, straightforward Mexican food. Surprised to have found something like his without venturing into queens. The portions were great as well.

Really authentic, good, home cooked Mexican food. The menu is mostly tacos, but they also have enchiladas and tostadas. They have aguas frescas in the cooler as well. Everything is very good prices as well. I got a beef enchilada with red salsa. The sauce was spicy and the beef was flavorful. The rice was a little bland but mixed with the enchilada sauce or the beans it was perfect. I don't usually like beans but the beans were so good- tender without being over cooked and very flavorful. The woman who took my order was extremely sweet as well. I talked to her about the Jarritos wall and she said everyone always asks- yes they are real!

I came across this place in search of Birria Tacos. When I arrived, I was greeted with kindness and a smile behind the counter. I sat down and waited for my order to be prepared, which only took about 15 min or so (not bad). The place is small, cute, clean, and has lots of beverage options. My Birria Tacos came with 3, and a small cup of consume. The presentation was beautiful! The tacos were a little plain to me, but with the sauce they were good, it had a nice kick to it!

Easily one of the best mini restaurants in town. Sitting in an old family building built some generations back(possibly as early as the 1930's?) this family owned mexican restaurant preserves the small town eatery atmosphere and charm you just don't see anywhere else in Hicksville anymore. The owners are also some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They even occasionally attend the Hicksville Gregory Museum's summer markets from time to time where I discovered how legendary their food is. I strongly recommend this place! Freshest ingredients!

Terrible listening skills, I called them up for an order to go an said no onions but it didn't matter to them because they put onions anyway. It's not that she didn't understand either cause I said it in Spanish and she even repeated it. Went in and she tried to charge $1.50 for clearly labeled 99¢ Arizona, also the food was bland a flavorless. The rest that gave high reviews are either friends or family because this place is mid
