This burrito is gigantic, as the name would suggest. I got the Cold Steel at their suggestion and I am shocked how good the brisket with coleslaw combination hit. I asked for it to be extra spicy and the added chilies complimented the creamy habanero sauce.

Stopped in after a day of trail walking nearby and was instantly put into a good mood. The staff was smiling and genuinely pleasant. The MUSIC playlist was perfect (I'm a Gen X). When our food arrived (tostada salad, Hawaiian quesadilla) it was absolutely fresh and fabulous. We were not expecting "authentic Mexican" at a place called American Burrito but the food was delicious and very well prepared. I'll be sure to visit again every time I'm in the area.

I know there is sense of desperation for anything remotely decent to eat while visiting WP, but this place is just out of whack! My son wanted me to buy him a burrito from here and I simply refused. Once I read the menu and the various description of what they considered as Mexican, I asked the girl at the counter if they had any carne asada meat as a choice. She looked at me as is I was speaking Swahili and then proceeded to ask the cook, who also had no idea what carne asada was and did not think they heard of such words. Then, he proceeded to show me their version of "beef" and "chicken" from the kitchen. I knew at that very moment, I needed to escape as fast as humanly possible. It was simply ridiculous! I have been to Highland Falls many times, I have yet to get anyone to explain to me why the place was a complete food desert and why they can't seem to attract any investor or restauranteur to invest some decent money into Highland Falls to feed the thousands of parents, students and staff that invade the campus every single year??? anyone???

I'm a local and I've been here a few times because of how picky my daughter is, but the quesadillas are her favorites.Today I tried the fish bowl that has cilantro rice and I loved it.The staff is very friendly and the guys who prepare the food are very cool. ?

Decent spot to stop by and grab a quick bite. Service is friendly and relatively quick. Prices are regular. Ordered their fish tacos which were pretty tasty. Also got a side of guacamole which was a bit bland. Noting for those looking for actual Mexican food, this is not Mexican food, but rather an Americanized version of Mexican food.
