Bear Mountain Bakery & Cafe

We ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. It was the nearest bakery to West Point and since we are visiting we are unfamiliar with the area or the bakery. The cake was a 2 out of 10. And we give any cake with icing a 10 in most cases. We ordered red velvet, it wasn’t red at all and the cake was toasty on the edges and bland and greasy in the middle, it tasted like it lacked sugar and flour… the icing was not even close to icing, just butter, no flavor and no sugar… I wish the cake were edible.

I'm so sorry but this place needs to improve. As soon as you walk in you will find boxes everywhere and a very disorganized setting. I asked for a latte with oatmilk or almond milk, evidently they ran out of both. I settled for a small iced coffee with cream and caramel, very disappointed. Gas station coffee for the win. Pastries were ok but would not go back.

Walked almost a mile to get here cause their hours claimed they were open they are closed. Owner take a friggin second and update your hours on Google. It takes literally no time and stops you from getting one star reviews. Have a nice day.

I’m guessing that because BMB is the only bakery in town, there are no market incentives to improve their business or maintain accurate listings. Very poor coffee and their hours are completely wrong—very disappointed with this place.

FIRST I WAS GREETED BY A SWEET YOUNG LADY!! THEN I WAS READY TO ASK A FEW QUESTIONS.. SHE WAS VERY BUSY BUT WAS RIGHT AWAY READY TO HELP ME!! THE PASTRIES WERE THE BEST IN THIS AREA!! HANDS DOWN!! THANK YOU BEAR MOUNTAIN BAKERY!! DAWN LADLEE!!

Bear Mountain Bakery & Cafe definitely is the spot for homemade cookies, brownies, donuts, everything is made onsite. My sweet treats traveled well and tasted just as good at home. #sugarlove #sweettooth

Very cute and awesome bakery. The employees are super friendly, and all of the food is delicious. If they have the cherry pistachio Gelato, it is a must. I have never tasted a gelato so good. Stop by and give it a try.

I can not say enough amazing things about Bear Mountain Bakery. First of all the place is super cute, the service was so genuinely friendly and caring. I am not exaggerating in saying the cookies, muffins and cupcakes we ate were seriously the best I’ve had, no joke. And we are really into baking and baked goods. Everything was so buttery and fresh, the crumb of the cupcakes was so delicate. Also we got coffee and they were fantastic. Please visit this place if you are in the area, or even if you are far it’s worth the drive.

Great place. Plenty of options. I really liked the ice-cream, and the double espresso I got. Gelato, donuts, teas. Really nice blue and white decor which reminded me of Greece. The owner is a very nice young lady who offered me the wifi. Celeb status fashionista as well!
