Good place to have a drink, clean and friendly. Kitchen was closed, perhaps permanently?
This is a comfortable motel with rather large rooms. Our room had two queen beds and a sink counter in the room with a separate shower and toilet. It got down to 50 degrees during the night and I did not detect any heat had been turned on although the room stayed at 69 degrees. The shower was excellent and the bed comfortable - we only used one bed. The big failing WiFi which was incredibly slow and then quit altogether around 10 PM. It did not resume in the AM. They offer a continental breakfast in the office consisting of juice, coffee, pastry and yogurt. The coffee was good but certainly the atmosphere was not - there really should be a breakfast nook. I would not stay here again
10/10 would recommend. Great service, great environment, even better owner.
Fantastic and tasty food, I liked the atmosphere this place has, and the workers were very kind. Will definitely visit here next time.
Stayed at The West Point Motel Friday evening for just one night. We arrived late but the staff arranged for a key to be left for us The room was spotless and recently totally renovated. The beds were superior quality and linens all first class. The next morning the staff was helpful and the continental breakfast perfect Would highly recommend staying there when visiting the area.
Stayed at the West Point Motel for a wedding at Thayer Hotel in West Pont. Might be 1 mile straight drive to Thayer which is just after the a West Point gate. My room was #231 behind the satirs in 2nd building. Did not wait around till 7AM for grab abd go breakfast. Room was larger than most hotel rooms - 2 queen beds (very comfortable),adjustable air conditioning unit, desk with chair (code for wifi), phone in room, small refrigerator, coffee maker, sitting chair, large screen TV, nice xize sink and make-up area. Has iron and board as well as hair dryer. Would stay again.-
After a wedding reception wondered around and found this place to be the only place open on Saturday night. Kevin was a great bartender/host for our group. Thanks for the drinks Kevin and Cheyenne!
Best food, kind employees, regularly awesome vibes. They charge fair rates and the food quality is great. I recommend this place.
The restaurant is great and broad, the food was delicious and the rates were very fair. quick, effective service and very amiable staff members. I recommend this place.
Caught the team mid-week during a renovation project, but they didn't miss a beat with solid service and good food. I had the bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and a Goose Island IPA. Draft not available, but they have a full bar. Definitely worth a visit

My wife and I stayed at the West Point Motel for 5 nights while visiting our Son, Daughter-In-Law and New Granddaughter at West Point. The rooms are reasonably priced, very nice, clean and spacious. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We look forward to visiting our New Granddaughter often and will be staying at the West Point Motel.
Check in was simple and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was wearing a mask and I felt very safe. The room was spotless and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was great internet connection, coffee and breakfast were delicious and it was super close to the state park and Storm King Art Center which is divine. Highly recommend!
Good people...a lot of fun!
friendly spot. good service
Registered and went to room. Greeted by a blast of exceedingly warm air. Thermostat set to 70; thermometer said 70. We maintain our home temp. @ 70 and we know that the room temp. was likely 80 or more. Set the thermostat to 60 and left for the evening. Returned to room about five hours later. Room still excessively warm; thermometer still read 70. Opened door to outside - outside temp., maybe 50. Little help. Learned that the room is heated by hot water, baseboard with no way to manually control. Set the thermostat to less than 60 and turned on the A/C to high before going to bed. Awoke in a sweat nevertheless. The room had a king bed and sufficient room for two armchairs. There was only one which did not impact us but is not sufficient for couples who, say, wanted to sit and talk over a drink or watch TV together. In either situation, one person would be confined to the bed.
