My husband and I ordered takeout. My husband ordered beef enchiladas without onions and received chicken. When we called the rude woman who took the order stated she explained on the phone he could not get beef without onions only chicken. It was on speaker phone and three people never heard this woman say that! The food was not good and the chips were stale. We once ate in and it’s was about a 3.5 out of 5 but after this. Not willing to return. Take your chances.
Great family owned Mexican restaurant. I really enjoyed everything about this place.
Homestyle Mexican food for a reasonable price.
We had the most attentive and delicious dinner at Maria Bonita’s tonight. The service was customized and caring and the food was delicious! Thank you for treating us like family and for making this a memorable evening!
Great personal service. The food is cooked fresh. It was luck your plate delicious!
Excellent Mexican food. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Very good, authentic flavor. The chicken prepared with delicious flavor and the sauce totally added to the meal. Highly recommend.
Nice restaurant, great atmosphere and the food is excellent
I have come here multiple times over the years. I was here just a few weeks ago and enjoyed the food. This time I got the bill and was charged $4 more for my bill and $3.50 for tap seltzer x3. I questioned it as the menu said my meal was $19.50. She said rates have gone up which should have been correct on the menu and I didnt know tap seltzer was per glass. I was advised "its opened bottles" which I did not see and was not given a bottle to pour. Then we were advised of an extra fee to use a credit card which was not posted anyplace. I essentially paid about $15 more for my meal this week then what I did 3 weeks ago. While I love the food- Will try other restaurants as I dont deal well with the misinformation. everything is expensive everyplace and transparency is important. I hope this helps other customers and I hope that Maria Bonita can make the changes they need to in order to conduct business fairly.
Great food every time.
No a good place. Once you come to the door the owner is the Server-Bartender with a non-welcoming spirit tone, very rude. Food is not even close to Mexican food a mix of old fashioned style poor greasy dishes. These are expansive to what is offered. Place is in general dirty and non-appealing, in fact while there customers came in and left right away, it was too late to leave as we sat and ordered already to just discover our mistake for staying. Well, there is a chicken soup that looks and taste more like a pork stew. Try at your own risk!

Great family run restaurant. Their molie sauce is the best inside or outside of Mexico. All their dishes are made from fresh ingredients and with care. If your a foodie this is worth the trip!
We didn’t expect such a delicious meal tonight! This place was recommended by a local tour guide. It is so unpretentious that we walked right by it initially. We highly recommend that you check out this little restaurant on your visit!
Not impressed! Got charged over $20 for some chimichangas and a bag of stale chips. The salsa was actually the best part the the experience. Nothing super special here and just overpriced.
Quaint little mom & pop Mexican restaurant near USMA West Point. Really good authentic Mexican at a very reasonable price.
Stopped in for lunch while traveling with my brother. The atmosphere is cozy. The place is family run. Service was attentive w/o being oppressive. The food was excellent and authentic. Would definitely try again.
